I think singles is done. Teams is def more hype and really the only way to hype 3s now. As a TO obviously I like 2v2 better tho because rounding up teams is a biiiiitch. Also we had 3s on H2H Friday and Saturday casuals until 5 p.m., we really couldn’t do anything more with the ST high-stakes coming up Sun morn. I’m really happy we got to keep casuals open all day Sat for both games. People travel to majors and really barely get to play casuals generally, esp on arcade, so that was cool (when the machines were working).
This, also the skyline chili place was pretty good too. that was a real fun dinner. Mad shout outs to you juicebox for being the most personable high level player i may have ever met. mad respect to you good sir.

Thanks to fugee and ghaleon for the amazing tourney, and the us of a in general for being great hosts to Canada, especially as it was the first major for a lot of us. Shit made me happy i play fighting games.

Great event and of course 3s was the highlight for me. A lot of great teams and upsets. Only thing was that red cab, lol. A lot of us were trying to avoid it. Didn’t the jab go out mid match when Gootecks was playing? Also, I saw Mike Z showed up and didn’t have a team. Would have been awesome seeing his SAIII Makoto play in it.
I agree, there should have been 2 stations for 3s casuals but I could only find one open TV. I had mine setup on Sunday and I knew if it was on it would draw a crowd which it did. But I had to leave around 6.
GG’s to AneurismX, thanks for the Dudley tips. You make playing against Yun look like it’s in Dudley’s favor.

Wow this is a damn shame…I love how everyone hated Marn and then once he beats Daigo, People jumped right on his dingle berries. Yes Big props for Marn doing it. Gotta show some love but damn going in like that? No need. This is why other countries look down on us. We got no class son.
I think Fudd might have been the one with the tripod recording most of arcade ST. If I’m thinking of someone else, somebody please let me know to get at them to get the vids up ASAP.
