Isn’t C.Forward xx LK Tornado safe too? I know RK tornado isn’t even safe on hit but I can’t remember if MK or LK are. IIRC MK isn’t.

thats some freaking good advices man. i never tought about lp trow after low tornade, i hope they fall for it. theres so many fakes sean can do thats what i like about him, alot of other chars dont have that.

theres also an other reason why i rather sa3 then then 2 others, its because lets say when im 2 or 3 pokes away from the oponent, with this super i can still connect a mp+mk to sa3. with the other supers i think you have to be really close.

I’ve been messing with sean a bit more and found something that seems to work alright (haven’t had much chance to really test vs. pros). I find that if your opponent is waking up, you can use an lp roll in a similair fashion as dudley’s backswing blow to bait a throw. Problem being that it seems all you really have time to do after your opponent whiffs his throw is for you to throw… MAYBE you could pull off a fast shoryu-cannon if you verified that the other guy was still in the throw whiff animation.

damn man if it works it just means another good trick for sean, i think thats what separates sean from the other shotos, he has alot of fakes and tricks.

Sean is much better than ppl give him credit for. He has a good wake up game and his mixups are crazy. I tend to use the LP tackle a lot, because u can fake ppl out and throw them or do a mixup. You casn also go under ppl quickly and attack accordingly. His basketball game makes his wakeup game BANANAS!!!

I found a fun little trick out. I noticed that some ppl use a lot of UOH’s and some of them were pretty predictable. I noticed that if you LP Sean Tackle when they do that, you go under that, they whiff the attack, you can get behind them and dust that ass off! Try it out, it saved my ass a couple of times!

UOH - universal overhead AKA mp+mk. that short hop and punch attack thingy. that’s what a UOH is.

so you lp then fake tackle before the overhead? or you mean lp then roll?

no. I mean just lp fake tackle around the start of the overhead, and do it when you see the opponent hop up. I think you can go past them only if you start it on the way up. If done correctly, when they are hopping, you should just slide past them, and since there are so many frames during the UOH, that should give you enough time to attack.

lp fake tackle = do the fake tackle with the lp button :woot:
