If we played rose mirrors at your local spot, you could be lil mad at the backdash “spam” as well you might even, soft ban or outlaw it, requiring money down or something if you’re going to do that.

I don’t need help on that front, SF3 player. I fight out the corner on the regular, this was all examples.
As well, Rose close HP is dope, an actual (nearly real) meaty in SF4, a lot like Ryu in SF3. Now I’m done here. Please take it to the Rose forums, and do not be scared of them and their knowledge with Rose too. I’m pretty sure I had a counterpick ready for the second game and then on to a 3rd game and winning the 2- 3 format. I always classify my wins and losses online that way. In best of 1 you go with what works right then. Laming it out seems utterly appropriate. You can go get fancy in casual or longer sets. Not Playing To Win/laming it out seems counterlogical in best of 1.

Master:

Critical burst is an interesting addition however it almost feels like an unnecessary addition to me. It plays against the core rules of DOA and that is repetitiveness. Players using the CB attack twice or any move for that matter is something DOA has always been against. You were punished in DOA for trying to abuse any move twice while having someone stun and CB goes against that rule. I would rather not allow for the shortcut of the CB attack being used twice since it is an unnecessary mechanic.

I guess he can’t deal with the game being catered to players who actually want the game to have a competitive scene.

The worst part is that most think that “Sportsmanship” has no place in fighters, because they think that the only goal is to win at all costs.

Yeah, I try to talk about/play other fights, and I don’t really combo, I let people get up, I back up if they are in a corner, simply due to sportsmanship, (No fun to dominate).

Turning their moves against them is primarily what I do, rather than being offensive.

I am the same way though, in that I’m not really aggressive unless I’m angry. (Like I see them just jabbing or trying to do the same move over and over, or trying to be cheap).

However i’m a little different in that I just destroy people when I get angry lol.

Most of the time I’m just playing for fun, not trying to win, not really taking it seriously, just trying to do cool maneuvers.

I also refuse to do the same moves over…though I am primarily a grappler, I won’t do the same grapple over and over if I can help it. I try to mix up my grapples as much as possible.
