Scrub or Scrubclops? Why?

it’s easier to fly around, yes, but since it’ sso slow, sentinel has to stay put for a longer period of time. if sent has commando, guess what? you have about 5 seconds where you don’t have to worry about commando or sentinel at all, giving you time to build up extra meter. sentinel can get around the optic shot, but it requires a more patient sent.

play both until you see each teams pro’s+con’s.

^lol laziest answer i’ve ever seen from you mike.

agreed.

so in the end it comes down to who you think you could captilize more/better with. sent or cable? if you feel you cable game is ahead of your sent game, go for cyke, but if you feel your sent game is good and u can do the fast fly combos and what not, go for commando.

you rarely see me answering these types of questions:wgrin:

what if ur sent is better than ur cable but ur a cyclops master
what if ur cable is better than ur sent but ur a capcom master

u could tell from my avatar i am in favour of tream scrummy

fixed.

i’ll give my quick opinion…choose scrub, damage output with them is too nasty.

sent/cap is better against storm cable and sentinel than sent/cyke imo, and possibly argue better on mag too

cable with cap and sent-y control every part of screen if it want to

then cable gets gay stuff on assist that cyke doesn’t setup (or i dont know)…try counter assist capcom, sj.fp bullet on assist, drop a little, rh grenade [reset], hit ground, ahvb…super kills assist if point character sits there too long

but…diff strokes for diff folks

Overall scrub, but scrubclops starting sentinel is pretty sick if you know how to take advantage of cyclops blockstun.

Teams with three characters (storm/sent/cable, mag/cable/sent, sent/cable/cyclops) have better longevity.

I think of it as a reverse row type of fun team, where the 3rd character (cyclops instead of magneto) can get in if necessary. Cyclops with those two assists is not bad and a good stall against magneto or a sentinel without capcom, just build meter to dhc back into cable or sentinel.

cyke is not as good as commando, because commando makes up for a lot of mistakes you might make during a match that leave you vulnerable. Spamming on commando will hit more times than not. Its what I like to call a reset. Not a combo reset but a reset. “You’ve made your way all the way here to attack me, but capcom comes in and bashes me back, so I have to think of another way to get in or snap him in and kill.” " I try and come in and boom, I’m on the other side again. " You hear it all the time. I believe commando holds himself pretty well against a lot of stuff except the snap in. Then again, most who get snapped in just lose that character anyway. So go with commando.

Scenario: starting sent cyke v cable cap. Keep away, while destroying your assists works all day long. I may even kill an assist. Its only hopeful that sent doesnt make a mistake. To execute that perfectly is a lot harder than masterfully blocking correctly with cable. The AHVB is just too easy. Fly unfly; not so easy to hit and protect yourself all the time. Hit confirming with cable is easy!

so basically, you’re judging which is better because of which allows you to suck more? good job.

Srammy!!! LOL!!!

:china:

I prefer scrubclops. Since Cyke’s AA is Good and he is a lot better by himself than commando.

If your first two characters get beaten your not left a sitting duck, since unlike commando most of the time, cyke can hold his own pretty well when it comes down to the wire.

Alot of the ppl i know who play, play with the intent to not let the match go down to the wire, and having commando makes that more possible but i do agree, if it comes down to the last few seconds, having cyclops is loads better than having cammando, but you should be trying to avoid that situation as much as possible if u play scrub

Psylocke is definitely not a good fit for sent/cable. If you’re looking for a 3rd AAA to consider, I think your best bet is Cammy. Cammy AAA is invincible for 1 hit and it seems to come out a lot faster then most AAAs.

When you play these teams, you have to consider which one is going to do damage when you need it, and also the times you mess up. You will always mess up. Captain commando does that damage for you. Cyke may be a good player; but once snapped in, I don’t think he has any advantage over any other character who gets snapped in. You lose the advantage of the upperhand when you do get snapped. They are now forcing their issue on you, and you are forced to “Rethink” your plan. It has nothing to do with how much I suck at this game. With these teams, you should always get snapped in.

Cammy is a good player also; however if she is called first, commando will pound her ass to the top of the other side of the screen, giving sent or cable a chance to kill her ass before she gets out. With capcom you always have that quick get the fuck out corridor into super dhc. When she comes out, she gets stuff by commando everytime. Countercalling assists is big with these teams. Captain Corridor does both Sent and Cable good.

you are an idiot if you think Cykes is just as good on point as Commando.

Yes, when you get snapped, they have advantage, but that goes for them snapping in anyone.

with Cykes you have more options (run away, DHC’s are much better) than you do than if commando gets snapped in.

fuckin jewdiot

Cyclops owns the fuck out of Commando on point, and anybody that says otherwise is talking about theory Marvel.
