I give the film a 7/7. The changes from the novel were beyond well suited, they were strokes of genius. Wright gets it right.

[details=Spoiler]I fucking loved the film. Granted Cera was the weakest link of the casting since everyone else was on fucking point. That isn’t to say that Cera shat the bed, he was GREAT. Even though I love the fuck out of Kim and felt the tiniest bit of disappointment she didn’t get the role that Knives filled out in the end product, it made absolute sense. That’s what I meant about the changes being strokes of genius. The awesome reassignment of memorable scenes just made all the fuck more memorable. Case in point:
Knives being the replacement Kim: Being the most recent relationship, it made sense to use her as the one to sincerely apologize to. An amazing way to keep consistency and show character development.
Envy’s weakpoint being Roxy’s weakpoint: I’ve always been a bit “meh” on the idea of Roxy and Ramona’s relationship expressed in the series. It wasn’t the amicable way they can exist without absolutely hating each other as EXs, but that was the first volume where far more emphasis was put into exploring the involvement of Ramona’s exes within the book as opposed to a “ex appears…fight” method of 1-3. With that said, making Ramona tell Scott about Roxy’s weakpoint sets it up for the argument afterward, but also tells the audience in a span of 20 seconds sincerely how intimate Ramona was with Roxy as opposed to showing off pages about learning how to be ninja and shit. I would love to have seen the Envy Ramona fight, but this is Scott Pilgrim.
Let’s both be girls: Holy shit…this point is twofold because it’s almost like Wright knows which buttons to press to disappoint, but knows the perfect geek lever to erase all fanrage over an omitted portion of the film. In two cases, missing out the Todd Ingram knee and switched it over to Gideon…when I heard him say “Still my girl” my nerd boner past the pre-fluff stage and straight into money shot. Fucking BRILLIANT reassignment of a part in the book to film. The second point, awwww…only the sword of love is present at the end of the film? After a 1-up/ Sands of Time rewind which would have made the Sword of Self Respect seem redundant having just obtained the sword in the same scene, making it another timeline/redo makes it less redundant and meaningful. Holy fucking, I have two boners.[/details]
This film is easily one of the best films I’ve seen all year and one the best films being a fun film playing within it’s medium.

Yes, Brie’s version is 68,000 times better (as in oh my fucking god she sounds hot). And no, I don’t know how to find a version without words. If I do find one, all of you will know.
EDIT: Listening to the original, I think I might be able to splice the guitar intro from Metric (aka no talking) into the Clash version afterwards (aka hot Brie). If I get it to sound right I’ll post it. 
I think Knives is the 6th playable character as DLC. (even tho she’s already a striker character)

The guy also said that in addition to the Boss Rush mode, there is also a Volleyball mode and Battle Royal mode. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know if any of that is done by code or DLC.

The movie is showing from tomorrow in the UK. I’ve got my tickets booked already and looking forward to it. Just got to hope it isn’t over hyped. It seems like the kind of thing I would enjoy.
I haven’t read any of the comics though so apart from the PSN game I’m completely new to the series.

certain ones will be pixilated…unless you got dat premium. i wanted the one your using too but it was pixilated for me
if selected images are bigger than the avatar size retrictions, SRK now scales the images down. this may cause the issues you see with the GIFs though.

I am fan of the GNs and loved the movie, but have not had a chance to play the game. Does anyone know if it is possible for a ROM/handheld port of this game?
