As for Rikimaru, I’ve seen him a few times before. I know for sure that he’s relatively solid. He recently won a Game-Newton tournament I think and also beat K.O/Pierre/Tokido in a team tournament alongside Take and Yakkun last december. Personally, I hope either RX team wins or Hirai’s team wins. Those are two really beefy teams.

That’s pretty accurate, I think I didn’t get to see all of the matches but I think that is correct. Last Chance Qual team was Saru(Yun), Hataini(Makoto), and Chinta(Ken).

Anyway, Rikimaru’s a monster. He already showed he was good, but today in his games against Aruka’s and KO’s team he was like the essence of the perfect chun gameplay

Yeah…single elimination is only good for displaying the top player. All other results are a toss up. It’s definitely entertaining to watch and forces you to bring your A game from round one. There’s really no time to think like in double elimination multiple match fights.
The way things are looking now…3S will start in 2 or more hours. Hour and 30 minutes if things suddenly go quickly. All these ads and KOF 98 hasn’t even started yet. For people on the East Coast I’m thinking we’ll be up until 5 or 6 in the morning. Obviously dont take anything I say as official. I dont know what they’re planning obviously and I’m going to be up all night as it is.
