I have finally managed to buy my ticket for Sunday. Do I need premium subscription too, or will the stream be ok, since I bought a ticket?

Yesterday the stream was up about 30 minutes before SBO began. I’m sure it’ll be the same this time around, so you should know before the show starts.

Yeah, I was kinda upset about that. They only showed one or two matches and most of the sets, and also bundled it with the Tekken 6 tournament which got the same treatment. I’m sure the Tekken community weren’t too happy about either.

all i saw was a black alex defeating poor roku with a little jungle strike magic (wake up SA II)
and because nuki lost to ebara during the tournament…

4000 Y isn’t cheap but,as i said,my ritual is to buy it directly @ tougeki venue
that is good for 2 reasons :
it’s money i give directly to enterbrain so it’s like a nice gesture and all
i want tougeki and third strike to live on until at least 2028
i usually already have the footage (shhhh) - i kinda keep the dvd as a memento
in my head it’s pretty cool that it was bought there
and not through some shitty nicaragua-based online store
and there’s no point in waiting a while if you want the dvd
maybe you might be thinking "i’ll wait a while and buy a cheap 2nd hand copy later on"

but the third strike ones are STILL as expensive as day 1
dvds for other games can be found for like half the price (1500-2000 ?)

The DVD was expensive as hell but I couldn’t resist as usual. I actually ordered mine alongside a set of 16 Kuroda DVDs even though I already own a set (I’ll loan these out to local players when 3S:Online drops). So I have tons of Kuroda footage flying into NY for me.
I wonder if Play Asia will sell it.

There was only one last-chance qualifier the morning of Tougeki, so I’m not sure how DB Koopa’s team got into the bracket. A-Ryu is also Korean, so they probably qualified there.
