From what I read, the Americans got their asses handed to them by better players. Simple as that. So Marn complaining like a bitch, then getting his ass beat after taunting…well, you got what you deserved. You woke up the sleeping giant, who decided to step all over you.

This is pretty much the exact response I was expecting. Marn, I think you play Street Fighter pretty good. I would hope you would be good with how dedicated you are. My point is that I think you have a lot of growing to do as a person. You need to look in the mirror more often.

Your beef is with me and then all of the sudden it’s with the entire SF4 community? That’s sad that you got so emotional because of one person…one critic. You put yourself on display to be criticized. Why do you wear pajamas in public Marn? Why did you wear that giant flotation device around your neck at EVO? Why do you disrespect people by shoving your crotch in their face after a match? It’s because you need attention, you want people to notice. Marn, you don’t need to do any of that. You are one of the best players in the US already, w/o the antics.

I think once you grow up and mature a little you will in turn become more successful at whatever endeavor you desire. There is one thing about Justin and his antics. He backs it up by being the best in the US hands down. Where were you at EVO Marn? Did you win MWC simply because Justin didn’t play?

Oh one more thing. Being such a public figure in this community you need to watch how you treat people. As a general rule you should be respectful so in turn you will be open to receive respect. If that crotch thrusting would have happened to me, I can’t guarantee I would have ignored it. I’m only human and there is a chance I would have just punched you in the nuts just for being a jerk.

I am qualified to say that because that is what I read. The went in there, they all lost to a Zangief the first night, and all got beat in the first round the next day. That is an ass beating to me. They have worked really hard I am sure, but them acting like fools, taunting, posting racist and immature posts (as the top players and possible role models) and crying about losing is just ridiculous. They lost, and they lost bad. Could I have done better, lord no, but then again, I have a life in which SF4 is a fun hobby, not the other way around.

They are kof players in the same sense that Nemo is a GG player, Itazan/Fudo are VF5 player and many other players who were in SBO, were generlaly not SF players (such as Denpa).

Oogosho didn’t just pick up SF4 for a week and win SBO. Back in October or November, Oogosho had 2800 games logged onto his card, and it’s probably over 10K now. It’s the same for pretty much everyone in SBO.

Why was Marn using C. Viper throughout his whole trip in Japan, when he knew that he had to fight the top players in the world using Rufus? It’s like…why study for a math test when you have a bio test the next day.

I know they qualified for sbo months ago, and mains change, but still…marn should have trained with Rufus until after sbo is done, and then switch to Viper.

lets be honest with ourselves and not act like most of us wont, and dont put games to the side as more of a hobby thing below even our other hobbies sometimes. its no shocker that with large economic changes which largely affect your personal life on so many levels, that yeah, when you find the time to practice, cool, but for the most part you could give two fucks if you cant dp, fadc into ultra 100 percent of the time.

im not speaking for myself personally, but im just sayin. i havent been 19,20,21 in a while, where certain things i have an interest in now, were not an interest back then, and fadc’ing moves isnt bar talk or a convo breaker, being the best dictator player is only worthwhile within the small fighting game community, and overall games takes money out of my pocket one way or another, not put it in, etc… so yeah, always strive to be the best if you can, but it is just video games, and i could see how some might not get that. i have some goals for next years evo, but im fine if i can never say i won so and so tournament and did so and so.

yeah, its understandable when someone pulls the real life card anytime, and even more so nowadays. i mean, unless they’re just trying to be cool or something, or they’re feeling real defensive about something. so yeah, no, i will never in my life put in like 10,000 games of sf4 in a year. fuck im gonna do with that accomplishment. lol! but im not making an excuse for not being better. im just saying its a realistic reason that shouldnt be quoted and lol’d about. its real, son!!!
