Not really. All of the players on last year’s winning team (Umezono/Shiro Itachi/Matsuda) have been around for a while. They just weren’t part of the 3-4 superstar teams that SBO had last year.
yeah. what’s crazy is that umezono/shiro/matsuda were ocved by deshiken in sbo4’s 1st round iirc, then they go all the way to win sbo5. just shows you the talent depth. honestly though, they didnt beat RX, RX beat himself by making the mental error of hoarding a max meter…
I am thinking of teaming up with the best. Possibly going to take Kuroda from his team and call back RX to join us.

don’t expect much raging demons from kuroda…he rarely does it. he doesn’t waste meter…
when he uses alex, whenever he could do a ex flash chop, he does a lp flash chop, and try to follow up… all meter goes to sa2…
This doesn’t surprise me too much. From what I’ve seen in the Yun vids that are on Youtube, he really likes to play it safe(of course he throws in red parries as well). That Kuroda tribute vid was neat too; his Dudley made me chuckle.

So, have these teams qualified already or not? If not, then there’s always a chance they might change. I recall last year’s gvision qualifier having Matsuken and Aiku teaming up and then going with separate teams afterwards, and also Take and Yakkun with Nacchan, and then going with Rikimaru (ultimately helping them make it to the top 4). Anyway, I’d be happy just to see Kuroda back in it.

Tokido and Keeper
I think Tokido is due for a top 4 appearance. Looking forward to the qualifier results and who teams up with who.

his dudley can be very aggressive…there were a few 10-seconds games in the dudley dvd…
i wouldn’t mind making a video of the best moments of kuroda playing each character… but i dunno how to convert the vids to non-dvd format, so i can use software to combine stuff together… anyone can tell me how?..

Ah…good memories of my fight vs. Ino at Evo. Qualified my way through the brackets to have to fight him first thing in semis. I got a lucky first round off of him but he had me after that. Real smart guy. Best part was I lost and just out of shock and respect of my play he gave me a big hug. I never felt so good about losing. :lol:
Please get this done i want to see Kuroda play everyone before i die. I cant believe he is the best Ken in Japan (according to that ranking)

well look at the bright side. maybe theyre less than stellar jpnese players and hopefully if a US team is matched up against them in the 1st round, the US team will finally move past the first round for the first time in three years. i’m sure foreign teams wouldnt mind taking their chances against “random” jpnese players rather than the likes of raoh, nitto, KO, match etc…
