i was just saying as what i have seen before, i mentioned those players because they are very tournament consistent in Europe from like 4-5 years ago, not base on a friday casuals, and was just my opinion, if you take it personal… meh :rolleyes:

As people should very well know by now, I don’t care what people think of me based on this forum or IRC/MSN. Even the whole forum-warrior thingie that went around in Europe. I have played both of them, I didn’t win, however the difference between the 2 players was obvious. So, I still don’t really care what you think:P But if you played both of them and you see a vid like that you simply know something is wrong. Again: played both of them… Which is something you (obviously) didn’t.

Surely if you have so much criticism you yourself wouldn’t be so inferior. :rolleyes: I’ll admit that playing someone is better than watching but obviously there are times when playing someone isn’t enough. This isn’t the first (or last, I figure) time you’ve said something wrong/dumb concerning 3s. If you’re understanding of the game mechanics is insufficient I imagine your personal opinion would follow suit. You don’t have to care what I think. Those cats in Brussel are another story. If you’re going to thrust your tired, worthless opinion into anything related to European 3s, you can expect some sort of backlash.
Judging other players like that is condescending enough; the fact that you haven’t even beaten them makes it ridiculous. I could go back and quote everything directly (instead of mocking you like I did earlier) but it’s only 8-10 post back. If you’re so sure Europe is going to get OCV’ed @ SBO, why were you even trying to go? And you say “OCV’ed” like competing with Japan is just something you wake up and do like brushing your fucking teeth. There are Japanese teams that get OCV’ed. There are worse things than not winning SBO (since there’s no cash prize iirc). If you have so much criticism then why not improve upon what they can’t? Why not fill the gaps in their gameplay? I’m not saying a relatively bad player can’t analyze and whatnot but almost every post from you @ euro is a backslap.
It’s probably because I am actually displeased with the latter European material heading my way. This isn’t just the Ryan/Mymoza thingie, other stuff aswell. And Ryan did improve quite a bit from the time I played him, but he hasn’t jumped any huge gaps yet.
What annoys me even more is that there’s a Ken thread where UK players are putting their own Ken player forward as one of the best players they have seen. That would be the same as me putting DooM forward as best player I’ve seen in a long while; I’ve been outside the Netherlands, I’ve seen matchvids, and I know damn well I would be lying.
Now this vid got posted up, Belgians tend not to make meets like the last public, otherwise I’d eventually have known through DooM, not the point. The point is that those vids were in my opinion posted up as the best europe has to offer and that’s (to my relief) simply not true, even as BillyKane mentioned earlier.
My nickname during tournaments is reaVer, I placed 8th during a tournament in Belgium in November though the result further then the top 4 never has been posted up and it doesn’t really matter that much for me:P
As for the nonsense I post, I am REALLY hard to convince, I know that, but I can be made a believer, that’s what most people don’t know(people that do know, know me irl). The current forum approach is a bit off though, when I disagree with people I don’t mean any disrespect to them or make it my life’s goal to insult them the best I can. This is also why most of my posts remain indifferent on which way other parties respond.
If anyone feels I’m wrong they can tell me, I’ll give them my reasoning and they can give their reasoning as to why mine is wrong. Simple as that.

Though I am sorry for raising this problem in the wrong thread. As for qualifiers: any word on Umehara and Matsuken? Both are kinda MIA, and the qualification spots are running really short now.
Lol, maybe when certain players improve THEMSELVES they might understand the level at which players like Ryan and Mymoza play. There’s a reason they are regarded amongst the best players in Europe. Billy Kane is probably the only other candidate.
I hope to post tons of vids from the SBO qualifiers this weekend. Wish me luck guys

He is very highly respected in local Jap scenes… Now, I still find it very hard to believe the recent comments about him that MOV & Ino stated at recent Shanghai’s TGB. Just unbelievable.
BK told me last year SBO time, when he was in Game-Newton, no one (all the Japanese gods including foreigners) could beat his Q except Raoh for once or twice.
