And unfortunately we all know why:bluu:

Go team YSB

If that were the case USA should be left with 1 spot too, yet they still have 2 spots.

i think he’s implying europe sucks nuts at 3s and the us stands a semblance of a chance. but knowing you you probably didn’t pick up on that!

i don’t think europe deserves an sbo spot for ggxx even

Not with Amir, Vic and Yi staying here US doesn’t stand much of a chance.

Henaki: maybe you didn’t read the OCVs too well? The only 2 players that took a round were BillyKane and Ryan Hart, american teams didn’t even take a round. So europe deserves that spot as much as the americans do.

maybe because Europe doesn’t need 2 spots, only BillyKane, Ryan Hart, Mimoza(if still active) and Yamasaki are worth of a team, never heard of any1 besaide these players, no offense just what i have seen

Yeah, well, that looks like the good reasoning, till some lucky guy takes that spot:P Also note that you put 2 Ken players in your list.

Still, I don’t think it matters really, the Ryan vs Mymoza from last Saturday really points to the Europe is gonna get OCV’ed again direction.

And what did happen last saturday with Ryan and Mymoza?

last SBO performance was NOT the reason for which 1 spot was taken away from Europe. If it was that, USA would also get 1 spot this year since they got OCVed too.

Oh, and I bet no one who posted in this last page could even get close to beating Ryan or Mymoza

I think this could be a worthwhile discussion, but several ppl who’ve posted so far have what IMO are lop sided opinions. That being said, as much as I love the idea of international competition I feel it’s unfair to deprive 3 very good japanese players from participating in the finals even when their skill level is above that of the foreign team. I guess that’s just how tournaments work though.

Check the matchvids thread, post by HarmoNaz.

No one cares what you think.

You must be a scrub.

Assholes.

LOL, i never knew so much hate occured.Im a garbage player so if you play better then me  regardless of where your from.

You gonna tell me you did see some sort of structure in those games? Not even mentioning the random supers, the random normals players ran up against…

Seriously, if you/them keep that up we end up with no spots for europe.

News flash, you’re only worthy of an SBO spot if this random scrub from mexico has heard of you.

Weren’t those matches Naz posted just casuals? I don’t see how you can really judge the state of European 3s by some casuals.

Mymoza’s a good player, I played him two and a half years ago and he was really solid then. I, however, was not, but I could tell that he was really good. I wouldn’t say he’s at Pyro/Amir/Justin kind of level, but, at least when I played him, he was only a step or two under that. And the UK also has a really good scene, I never got to play Ryan Hart but the guys I did play were definitely comparable in skill to US players.

pherai: I’m actually not sure, there wasn’t really any description and they were posted up as matches. Though I’ve had casual matches that looked more serious then that:P

UltraDavid: Last November I played both Mymoza and Ryan Hart, the difference between them is really measured in levels, where Mymoza almost looked Japanese level. I’m not the only one who has problems with fitting in those videos in the general picture, I’ve asked several in my country and they too aren’t sure what to think of it.

I myself have adjusted my game to the furthest extend possible for me and I actually did want to play both of them. It’s just that some jackass had to announce the SBO qualifiers in europe within less then a month of the event actually happening. Next to that I somehow didn’t merit an invite from the Belgian players to come over.

Heh, it’s not like those vids aren’t a single occurence, to be honest Mymoza is a bit out of practice right now… He’s been on a losing streak in local tourneys since April and I beat him 50-18 just last week before he went to Brussels. But our sets are usually much closer than that and I have to admit he hasn’t been playing too well recently. I’m quite sure he’ll be back to his usual self soon enough, but on the other hand you have to give credit to guys like Ryan, Marko or myself (damn right bishes!) who stepped up their game and were able to beat him in recent weeks. Judging the state of competition of the whole scene from a couple of match vids is retarded, especially since neither of them is planning to go to SBO this year.

Also, the reason Europe only has one spot this year because only one was requested to begin with. Trust me, I know this firsthand. The SBO commitee doesn’t take spots away when players don’t perform well, they really couldn’t care less. When you factor in the fact that the communities have to raise money to send the teams to Japan AND the small number of competent players willing to go to SBO this year due to a large number of reasons, I’d say it was a pretty reasonable decision.

To GoLD-ReaVeR, I don’t know what kind of person you are irl, but online you seriously sound like the most. annoying. person. ever. Maybe if you tone down all the bitching on public forums, people would send you invites and stuff. Just my 2 cents.

Oh Shit that was funny.
