Marko is now playing Chun-Li. He left Yun for her.
I actually thought that was a typo when you said Marko(CH)
I’m frankly quite disappointed that he made that choice. So close to SBO and ditching a very strong Yun for a new character is just silly IMO. The guy can do kara palms quite consistently too, and he almost goes level with top French players. True he didnt know all his character matchups, but those which he did know are out the window now… how long has he been using Chun?

theres like 1000000 ryans that play 3s did i miss the context in which what ryan is on that team?
gootecks? fubar? a euro player you know that i dont know is named ryan?
oh and in response to this i saw him in a placement for the 3s 2v2 recently at ffa so he definetly still plays.
If ryan(p.son) didnt ring a bell, then you just dont know who Ryan is. Dont worry about it.
Uh, that’d be the same thing. Emphy is Chinese-American.
A month or two, when Chun-Li “Officially” level up in the match up chart.

where is this “updated” matchup chart you speak of?
i don’t believe in this “update”, we heard it from BK.
the new matchup chart is here (and has been there for quite a while):
http://wiki.livedoor.jp/sf3_3rd/d/䥰
most of that chart retains the Tougeki Damashi 2006 matchup chart data, with a few corrections here and there.
Now Yun and Chun have the exact same score, unlike the last one where Yun had 2 more points.
Still Yun is better than Chun because he beats Chun, he has 17 advantage - 1 even matchup as opposed to Chun who has 17 advantage - 1 disadvantage matchup.

Thanks a lot, i was looking for this!
Does anyone knows what does the last 3 numbers in the right stand for?
and what is the matchup for makoto vs ibuki? 5x3 doesn’t makes sense. the last one had some mistakes like this, but it would be nice to know what’s up.
Last three numbers are as follows: Advantageous Matchup, Even Matchup, Disadvantageous matchup.
Yeah there are some mistakes. I’m guessing it should be 7-3 Makoto. Of course, I’m only guessing. Can someone with experience verify if it’s an even match up or advantageous to Makoto?
It’s in her favor but it’s not a 7/3 matchup. I dont even think Makoto vs. Akuma is a 7/3 matchup. They both have pretty good options for dealing with her mix ups (DP’s, good pokes, maneuverability, etc) so they dont have to just sit and eat her mix up games like other characters. I think I remember seeing on the Arcadia chart that Mak vs. Ibuki is like 6/4.
My impressions before SBO:
- way too many chuns. not that surprising i guess, still im pointing it out.
- Strong teams imo: 7,11,12,15 maybe 4 and 14 too
- Teams im rooting for: 4,6,8,23
- A little more Akumas than most woulda expected, even more than dudleys and makotos (who are supposed to be high tier)
Akuma’s a popular character in Japan so that’s not too surprising. Co op Cup 4 was full of Akuma players. 9 Uriens is really cool too. Wish there could have been more Chun players tho…
20(prolly 22 with LastChance) out of 32 teams have chun, why would you like to see more chuns?? :looney:
He was being sarcastic, mexican.
good luck to all
shout out and good luck to these gods:
4. ??(UR), Sugiyama(NE), Roshihikari(YA)
6. Aruka(IB), Yamazaki(12), Zangoef(AL)
8. Pino (NE), Thanatos (OR), Moutei (MA)
12. Boss(YU), MOV(CH), KO(YA)
and best of luck to the foreign teams. of course, i also think nuki’s, deshiken’s, and hirai’s teams will do well.
maybe this will be KO’s year.
but damn, no hugos, no Qs, and only one Ryu. damn. oh well.
