You guys have a sense of entitlement that’s just disgusting. I mean, it’s not just an SF4 thing… it seems like everyone just under my age has this shit. It’s a generational thing. You guys were the ones who grew up without getting beat. You got trophies for every fucking thing you did. Never allowed to fail at anything. You think you’re fucking special.

I’ve gone to SB for the past two years, and while there, I’ve actually RAN TOURNAMENTS. Instead of sitting on my ass, I picked up brackets and helped out, without being asked to. I just did it. I’ve contributed to SB, and to the tournament scene at large. I’m not going to be able to make it this year… Do you see me bitching? I couldn’t get there this year, so I won’t see the main event… That’s just how it goes.
I’m also truly busy, so I won’t have time to catch the live stream (if I would have had time to catch the live stream, I would have had the same time to just… go to Ohio), but… lucky me, damn near the whole fucking tournament is gonna be up in HD, probably before the week’s out. For free.
That’s amazing. I remember having to check the forums all day to get “live updates” for tournaments that I missed. Now you guys get a free live stream, and still bitch. Amazing. You guys should be so fucking grateful, but you actually think you deserve an apology?
I, who have actually done shit for the community at large, and for SB in particular in the past, don’t feel like I’m owed an apology, but you, random guy who’s done absolutely nothing for the community, is owed an apology…

And please, there’s enough new kids showing up into this scene every single day. SF4 did that shit on it’s own. You don’t want new kids coming in picking Ryu and thinking they’re Daigo. Shouldn’t work that way and it never will. Back in my day I had Valle to look up to in SF and there were NO streams. Had to wait months for a vid to show up. Hell, sometimes you didn’t even get SHIT. Just a results page and you be like “Good shit, Valle.”

Ha back in my day I just talked a bit of smack and traveled to people’s houses to play them. There was no internet for my young and broke ass. I got old Tips and Tricks magazines with tournament listings and Valle’s name in them. I never knew who he was but I knew he was good considering he was placing top 3 in all the games he played. I never been to SB before either. Hell I discovered it like a year or so ago but I was at Them vs Us (and got wrecked). I’ll try to go to SB next year though.
Anyways (useless info above to most of you), How do I go about getting one of those dvd’s? I don’t really give a shit about the whole streaming deal because the quality is gonna be piss poor anyway. I really don’t mind shelling out for a dvd and supporting the cause is some way, shape, or form.
It’s a good thing we don’t have to do that anymore.
