I think a lot of money could be made here and a you could make a lot of people happy. Plus it would be great for SB5. I mean you’re trying to label people for having legitimate concerns. I don’t think it’s something that should be met with hostility. I don’t think anyone is being ungrateful here. They’re just shocked because they got all hyped up for only to find out just now that this main event is actually a private showing. Why don’t you open an account for donations? It’s not going to hurt and I bet you could raise a sufficient amount of money for your trouble. It is a GIFT to the people that go there to see it but they’re there in person and that’s pretty special within itself already. The generous thing to do would be to GIFT the rest of the community that cant make it. I’m sure they’ll show love and support. Also, Hav, stop dick ridin, son. You’re just making things worse.

Also, it was announced LOOOOOOOONG ago that the main event would not be streamed… I don’t have exact info… but I’d have to assume it was probably announced as soon as the event itself was announced. Season’s Beatings is like this every year. No cameras for the main event.
Im aware that you are trying to give a little something extra to the people that actually went. But for alot of other people its impossible to attend. I live an 8hr flight from this place.

One thing i’d like to say. Ski, you’re acting like a crying ass, not that im defending anyone that’s being a crying bitch because the main event wont be streamed but you have to understand that people are going to be pissed especially if, as explained, its impossible for them to attend.
What did you really expect? People to simply say “oh, its not possible to stream the main event” or “its that little extra something for the people that attended”. Yes, a few people may have said that. But to be honest not everyone is going to be like that.

They’re not streaming it because they are making a DVD and they make no money from you sitting at your house watching it. Ur making Wing Stop and Popeyes money buying 100 pieces of wings before the event…but that’s it. If you wanna see it you had to put out the effort to truly support the event by being there. If your logistics keeps you from seeing hadokens vs. j.HP first to 10…then it sucks. Just like The Dark Knight there will be a DVD release.
I’m not even coming out here for the first to 10. The tourney last year which wasn’t half of the scale this event was gave me reason enough to want to be here this year again. I’m not doing an 8 hour flight but I’m definitely doing a 16 hour round trip drive and that ain’t no small feat just to probably get my ass kicked either. I’m not THAT interested in seeing these 2 battle it out because I’m a player myself and I wanna see how I do and how my other fellow players do. I’m a player and I’m going there to play against the best. Not watch them battle it out all day. Even if I lived that far away from this event I’d be more interested in the rest of the play and doing what I can to level up my own play.
What you’re talking about exists. It’s the DVD. Only thing is, you have to pay the penalty for not being (able to) be there, which is that you have to wait for it. If it were generosity they were interested in they would stream the rest of the… oh wait, they’re already doing that. Weird, it’s almost as if you don’t have a point at all.
Here’s my idea to you, and anyone else that has a sore ass because they can’t watch Justin and Daigo at SB4 live: Start your own fighting tournament that has enough hype and renowned that makes them want to be there and then YOU can choose whether or not to stream all of it to everyone. Really, you must realize how ridiculous you look repeating the same crap that someone slightly smarter than you posted a few hours before.
I would be the last guy to complain about a stream. I DO think some people are taking it a bit too far, but at the same time, i can somewhat understand. Hell, i was PRAYING they would start banning people from the EVO stream that whined and bitched any time something other than Street Fighter 4 was on, it actually had me somewhat interested in soul calibur, and i’ve never been a huge fan of 3d fighters.
I haven’t been around for too long, and i simply did not know about the event until it hit the front page of SRK, and by then, its too late to make/alter any plans for the weekend (I dont check this forum a lot). I would LOVE to see Daigo vs Justin, but i can understand some of the reasons behind wanting to give something to the supporters, but I still feel a need to simply say “that kinda sucks,” for you guys not streaming it.
I will just say since you guys are streaming other games, please try and keep the chat clear of people like those who watched evo and complained at everything that wasnt street fighter.

They have 2 of, if not the 2 most renowned fighters in the WORLD, not just the US, in Lil Columbus, Oh for our playing and watching pleasure and THEY’RE greedy? Lol, you’re joking, right? Beside that, they got the venue BOOKED, not just using it. Registration was all online, and so far, this is the most hype tourny all year other than EVO. Fugee went to EVO to get in with Daigo to see if he’d come and play Justin at the event.
