Hello all,
So, at the last minute, I’m able to actually make the drive from SC to OH for SB4. The problem is, I can’t leave until after work on Friday, which will put me in OH at like 2AM. I’d like to compete in SF4 if possible, but the most important thing is just getting in to spectate/get hype. How can I get 1 or both of these things done? I have 3 friends that will be there early tomorrow, if there’s anything they can do to help. If Ghaleon or Fugee can pm me on what I need to do, or just respond to my post, it would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help, I can’t WAIT for this shit!

You must be sitting at home. The fact still remains that more than 90 percent of the tourney will be recorded with high quality streaming equipment. The fact that you guys still complain is pretty hilarious.

I don’t mean to be rude. It just seems kind of senseless. I understand you’re trying to make a profit but there must be some way you could work something out so everyone is happy. I’d love to be able to take time out to fly up there and support. Do you think maybe you can start a fund raiser or something for donations? I just don’t see any reason not to give the people what they want when you’re perfectly capable is all. Maybe you can start a collection plate for $50 or something and when it’s met you could stream the exh. Something like that?
after being salty for a while now about not streaming the exhibition… i came to terms with the organizers’ decision. DevilJin 01 is 100% correct.

What you all have to do is suck up the fact that you WONT see Daigo vs Wong exhibition unless you will be there in person. Be happy you are getting a stream of anything. Stop bringing that mess in here and read.

It’s not about the money. It’s about the experience. It wouldn’t be rightfully fair to us [people who are actually attending the event] if the entire tournament gets streamed, including the Daigo vs. Justin ft10. If this was the case, there would be a lot less people coming out to this great event this weekend, because all the scrubs would just sit at home and do nothing, but watch the live stream all weekend.
Not only does this enhance our [people who are actually attending the event] experience, but it also entices others to come out to not only test their skills against everyone else, but to also get to see the Daigo vs. Justin ft10 LIVE AND IN PERSON.
If you still don’t get it, then just take my word for it and wait until the footage can actually be rightfully leaked onto the web.

You’re probably going to see it on a DVD of SB IV, which is most likely going to be put on high quality DVD’s and sold, and then sometime later ripped and put on youtube.
I’d be satisfied with a stream.

I can guarantee this decision isn’t being made over $50. And they are doing this in a way that everyone can be happy. You can A) go to the event, or you can B) pay for the DVD when it comes out.
If you can’t go to the event, you can still see it in high quality video, with commentary… That’s much more than what we got back in the day (ie. up until this year…). Dudes used to have to dub VHS’s to get shaky cam video… now you get high quality, direct feed… and people are bitching.
Just wait for the DVD… or better yet… GO TO THE EVENT. If you “can’t”, then you should have planned better. That’s nobody’s fault, but your own.
It’s called the DVD. I don’t mean to be rude either but what’s been done has been done. Again you will be able to see Daigo and J.Wong fight in a long battle over the internet either way. Not to kill any hype to to nut hug certain players but it’s pretty obvious they will stay in winners up until fight for top 3. You will get to see something epic go down from your computer chair between these two whether you see the First to 10 or don’t. This is for all you Fantasy SF players out there sitting on the couch with your chicken wings on Xbox Live. Come out to something.
So with that I’m done with that discussion. Ya’ll can’t figure it out after that then whatever.
