So unless I am going I have no right to bring up the fact that everything is being streamed except the one event those not in attendance would want to see the most? Calm your skittles brother.
It’s entirely in their right to do what they want to do as far as streaming is concerned and it’s entirely in my right to comment on if I think it’s a whack decision Obviously if I were in a position to go there I wouldn’t be concerned about the lack of a stream…

This is what we call a dumb comment.
Though having it on DVD or as an HD premium video is a good idea, most people were under the impression it was going the way of Tomo’s career, hearsay and no videos.
Whats good…this is Grimy…and me and Sayco are comming from MD…some other really good Tekken players from another state will be there not sure if they wanted to keep it a secret or not but I spoke to them and they gonna be there…

Or you guys could use your brains and realize that made zero sense. Why would they record EVERYTHING ELSE, and leave the main event to perish in the wind?
It’s just like two years ago, when the ran the 3-Man Marvel FT10, or last year with Yipes v Wong FT10. No cameras. The plans were to release the footage later. Like any decent business, you don’t give your best shit away for free. You keep your shit for incentive to A) actually attend the event, or B) purchase footage later on.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Yeah, I have industry friends to help us cut an SB Anthology DVD set (who will prob be grateful for extra work too). I don’t think we’ll have a problem putting it out and selling it next year.
I sent out a couple press releases but I doubt we’ll get anyone out besides the OSU paper. I’d be pretty shocked if Joystiq and Kotaku don’t give us a post or two as well – an actual event I’d hope would get some coverage in between ODST talk and DLC listings.
So the ones just looking forward the Daigo matches will have to end up buying a costly DVD filled with unknown matches?
I understand your desire for profit.
In time the internet will provide what Im looking for…
Time to jump off this hype train.
Are you kidding? This isn’t the first time in this thread this has been discussed…I guess if you feel that way you should have gotten off the hype train long ago. Funny how people just “expect” things to be done for them. The DVD isn’t going to be filled with “unknown matches”. If you read they said they were going to put in SB3 and SB4 footage. If you think Daigo/Justin is the only match worthy of watching in the past 2 years you are pretty much dead wrong. I guess what you meant to say was “I only wanna see the Daigo/Justin but I don’t want support the event in any way that made it happen, so I will blame it on the fact that they’re trying to produce a DVD instead of providing it to me free of charge”. Don’t know if that’s what you’re shotting for, but your post definitely implies that since you clearly want to see these matches but you don’t want to travel or purchase a DVD. See you on the next hype train, I’m sure events like Daigo/Justin FT10’s will happen all the time.

I’ll bet your wrists are nothing but scar tissue. Unknown matches? Just because you’re scrubby ass knows nothing about fighters doesn’t mean they should cater just to you. Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

Exactly.
I hate how this community just expects to get everything for free, and openly admonishes people for trying to charge them for their services. Shit’s hilarious. Did you fly Daigo out to Ohio? No? Oh ok…
The train is moving fast, I suggest you hit the ground running
.
First: I’ve never said I wanted the matches to be free or that I didnt want to support SB4. You better start quoting me with facts or things I DID say otherwise SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I know there is a cost behind all of this so Im favor of paying money to see that stuff. I never wanted stuff for free In fact once the DVD was mentioned I was very exited to purchase it
Im only addressing the issue from the point of view of a guy whose interested on the Daigo vs Justin Match. I know its ridiculous just to sell those matches so I see reasonable to get a DVD of the whole tournament.
A whole compilation of 2years on DVD from my point of view is just a move to capitalize on the hype of the Daigo match by charging the maximum possible amount for these kinds of DVD’s (70- 80$ maybe?)and from my point of view this is not worth it, I mean no disrespect to any possible great matches that would appear on those discs Im just expressing my opinion from MY OWN POINT OF VIEW
Now if you all guys want to interpret my opinion on the subject like a little kid bitching on a random forum it all your problem. Ive gotten used to the rudeness that lurk around this place so if you like to flame me or neg me to death , by all means, do it I could not care less.
Okay then. :lame:
EDIT:
And yet you care enough to go Prem over it?
Just to disable rep?

'Grats again, Grog!
Keep that money flowin’ MrWizard’s way!
I disagree here. You might think Daigo vs. Justin is the reason they would sell a lot of these DVDs, but SB has a pretty big MvC2 crowd.
I honestly think they would sell just about as many without that match, because there would be a lot of interest in the other matches.
But you’re entitled to your own opinion, if that’s the only match you care about then sure it’s probably not worth it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. When you make the decision that your opinion is important enough for everybody to see, you’re trying to make a statement. If people have reactions to the statement that you’re making, you shouldn’t be so surprised.
Can someone tell me how much it costs just to spectate? Do I just have to register like everyone else for the same price? If so it’s getting close to that deadline so I’d like to know.
There was a post by one of the organizers that stated you have to register for venue enty like everyone else but you don’t have to register for a game too.
That’s what’s up. Thanks Riot Guard.

so…since it seems my psx>DC converter got lost in the mail.
Is there anyone that has an extra psx>DC converter and would let me use/borrow/rent/buy it? Or somehow let me use it for marvel?
I wouldn’t want to buy it, but if that’s the only way then I will. Otherwise I could give you a few bucks if you let me use it.
