You’ll be straight. Team tourneys at other majors like NEC are done the same way. It’s like a typical tourney and people make teams and brackets and pay into the pot at the tourney itself.

^^^ Put alot of money on the line like $500 +, then people might actually make time for it or care.

If the schedule is not in stone, I vote for switching 3s with MB since it will have a higher turnout rate and gives people a little more time to get there.

3s on Sunday is doable since it runs on Playstation 2, so I think we’re switching that. I wish we could do SF:HD on Sun but 3s makes more sense for the schedule.

I’m biased, since I’m going for HDr primarily and I won’t be able to make it Friday, so forgive me for trying to push for HDr. Just remember that HDr runs faaaaaast.

I’m not sure how you guys are planning Sunday finals. But if it’s like Evo and staggered by game, I’m going to assume that BB and SFIV won’t run until later in the day since they are the bigger draw, with SFIV going last since it’s the main event.

That leaves PS3s free earlier in the day. Run HDr at noon or earlier, be done with it, and you’ll have all your PS3s back for the top 8 of BB and SFIV.

The only problem with this is managing spill over from the night before. If SFIV or BB doesn’t run all the way to top 8, then there will be left over matches to play and that would hog up a few PS3s.

Just my two cents. No offense to the other games on Friday, but it seems like Friday is for the games that will get a lower turnout and gives people time to get in for the main games that will run Sat/Sun. HDr had the second most entrants at Evo, I think it deserves a better time slot.
