Ive attended SB3 participating in DOA4. Quit going to DOA4 events ever since. Not SB3 fault, just a foul DOA4 community. All talk no walk. Around 25 registered, 9 played. Everything else was packed, which was kind of embarrasing. 
Anyways im coming for BB and mabey SF4. I hope my experience will be a little better this year at SB4. Only time will tell…
I talked with Tom today and we discussed some ideas. New Logo should be up by next week…
If I can get enough people interested, can I throw an HNK side tourney?

I haven’t played VP yet, but I plan on downloading it once I get my laptop fixed. And I could use the practice in the others you listed ('cept Monster cause I never played it).
But it goes without saying that if you can run it on a laptop, then more than likely you’ll be able to find a little spot for a setup. And I hope you don’t get raspy voice this time either :looney:
Smash is tentatively being run by AlphaZealot again. When I confirm I’ll post.
Suffice to say that anyone wanting to run side tournies will be free to do so if we have the space on the day. But we probably won’t be confirming side tournies in advance.
Last time I checked the music scene in c-bus consisted of
a) crappy rock cover bands
b) excellent jazz, blues, and swing
c) exactly 1 techno joint, which also happens to be a gay bar…
Am I wrong about this? When I first turned 21 I spent like a month looking for an electronic scene… Closest rave I ever heard of was in NYC…

That pretty much sums it up. It goes in cycles though. Places open and close a lot. There’s some decent indie rock stuff around (or at least close by in the midwest that comes through).
Definately on the jazz and blue’s though. If anyone likes that hit up Dick’s Den.
Alright, we’re heating up – we got our parties tentatively on board for our BIG SFIV event, so as of right now our main match is on track. Once the plane tickets are locked and all that we will can reveal for real. Expect epic runbacks from the first SFIV world championship.
Post up if you’re interested in buying an SB4 shirt (black shirt with our logo on front, possibly top player names in block letting on the front or back as well).
Also for the SBIII DVD: our plan as of now is to pretty up the Marvel matches + behind-the-scenes footage and put some production on there you can’t get on YouTube. Our plan now is to professionally capture SBIV (finals for all games + player interviews) and pack SB4/SB3 together as a set.

I’m not the best videographer or editor, but if you need someone to do interviews and some “behind-the-scenes” stuff, consider me as a candidate for that task.

I’d buy a shirt with just a logo, but with a list of names on it too would be overkill. Logo looks good.
