Both Balrog players that he has faced so far have given him a hard time. Daigo spends a lot of time in footsie range and that’s Balrog’s biggest strength. Just like at Evo against Justin, he got swept quite a lot. I’m rooting for Daigo but if he didn’t come prepared, I think there is a pretty good chance he could get knocked out by Sanford just like Dan did because of unfamiliarity.
BTW, how was Daigo’s team chosen. Did Fugee and Ghaleon get on a mic and say “yo, we need 2 guys to team up with Daigo, any volunteers?”.
Couldn’t believe they was actually feeding and fixing Daigo’s buttons…that was a good laugh! I was thankful for the stream and look forward to more matches tomorrow!
