sucks, this doesnt work on windows 8.1 worked on my windows 8 machine at work and my daugers xp machine but no windows 8.1 lol got it to work 1 time in desktop but not in SF4 lol SHITTY! know any tricks to get it load with basic drivers?

looked in the registry and couldnt find anything, also for some reason it came up as some weird encoding of the word saulabi like $/\u|_aBi or something. so weird. any ideas?

dumb question, but have you tried different USB ports?
Have you deleted the driver and reinstalled?
Been noticing a few things like this occurring with the 8.1 update… one of my razor mice did something similar. Had to delete the driver and reinstall.
ive uninstalled and reinstalled. ive even went in to the registry and deleted the profiles for all the joysticks. fuking weird. any more ideas let me know,

sorry didnt answer your question. yes different ports, different compters, it didnt work on windows 8.1 but it works on 8 at work, it doesnt work on my GFs vista machine but it works on xp. thats the weird thing. it doesnt work on vista, but it says it does on the box. i thought maybe it was the USB cable because i have seen weird shit like that before, but i dont want to yank the ucb cable off quite yet.
The plot thickens.
I finally got it to come up and identify (like i said this happened before, but it didnt identify as the saulabi 4k) it detects some fucked up version (see screen shot).
(normally when everything works on different computers it just comes up as normal saulabi 4k. see this pic
It doesn’t work in sf4 on pc, but it does work in the game controller conf box (the windows game controller section in control panel) i also tried to use xpadder to map it to the keyboard, which works outside of sf4 but still not within it.
it does work on zsness and skull girls though (without xpadder) so its not steam. so fucking weird.
Try to update the USB host drivers.
everything already up to date.
