first year you gotta stay in res to make friends, after that it’s all bout off campus/at home
Havn’t even gone yet and i can tell you on campus is better first year. Just make sure you juice it, so you have some thing in common with almost every 1.
Also, be sure to get a fake I.D if you need 1, just let me know.
On campus! If not(like me ) at least make sure you’re there on weekends.
on campus. even if u stay for 1 term.
cuz first year u better make frds at rez. cuz no one have time to talk and make frds during lecture. it copy notes. class end, all go run to next class. no chit chat. and if u are like me, all the good drinking frd are not goign to attend lecture later on, so u have to find them in rez
I didn’t bother to read this shit, but Hayvren told me the gist of it. I’ll just assume that the last couple pages were about some people thinking they did nothing, some confused people, some people who pretend nothing went wrong, and people who don’t give a shit. If you had nothing to do with this, you can re-add me if you want. If you think I have a problem with you, I probably do, so don’t bother trying.I’m still pissed at some people, but not as much.
I’m only saying this because I feel like playing games on friday at emtc, and I don’t want any hard feelings with most of you. I won’t bother reading replies to this shit, just be there friday. Later.
A better question to ask first is “Will commuting cost more than living on campus?” The answer to this question will depend on which university you go to and if you have a car. If I were you, I’d make the most financially sound decision. Staying on res isn’t cheap. We’re talking thousands of dollars.
If money isn’t a concern, then I’d say living on campus would be more fun. You meet all sorts of people when you live on campus and it’s almost certain the experience will become a life time memory. Hopefully a positive memory. You might meet people who don’t take showers, people who make you wonder how they managed to get into university, and you’ll definitely meet people who add the word “like” to every sentence.
Academically, you’ll do better if you stay on campus AND not bring too many distractions to your res. Because if you made your schedule really condense on some days and sparse on others, you’ll get this incredible urge to skip. I skipped a zillion times because I didn’t feel like driving to UTM for a 1 hour lecture. Especially when all the prof does is read overheads that you can print off a course site.
Hmmm… After reading all of your posts I think I will live on res first year if I end up going somewhere else besides UTM. GOOO Mac! accept me bitch
I slept with all my teachers
See this right here I have a problem with. A lot of people aside from myself had nothing to do with this situation and you blocked and/or deleted their accounts. I think it should be on your shoulders to re-add the people that didn’t do anything to you to begin with rather than vice versa.
Are there games happening at Skybox on Friday afternoon or not?
I can’t sleep, and i’m bored as fuck. so i’m gonna think of random things, and state my opinion.
Immortal Technique: man is fucking timeless. I’ve been listenin to him for 2 years and he’s still just as relevant and fuckin ill.
Fresh Prince: That eppisode where will got shot, and the ensuing “GIVE ME THE GUN CARLTON!!!” scene was heavy.
Hacky Sack: Greatest game ever. theres just some thing about the fluidness of it that I realy love.
Drug Dealers: I know a disturbing amount.
Grilled cheese: Top teir, but they’re to easy to burn
Girls: Most have been made retarted by mainstream media. Very few are cool, even fewer are funny.
RPGs: They realy need to make another 2d ToD or some shit. When you get that 1 item at the end, shit becomes like street fighter. Also, Star ocean 3 was fun, but it just didn’t have the same feel as SO2.
Coke: used to be ADDICTED to the drink. I would down like 5 cans a day. I don’t even like it much any more, unless rums involved.
Alcohol: I used to love hard liqure. When i was younger i could down vodka like water. I juct stick to beer now, even though liquid cokes are pretty good.
Graffiti: Love the good shit. Not nearly enough of it in suburbia. It realy is a lost/dying art.
Sega City: If they fixed the machines constantly, brought in the required core fighting games, and came up with some sort of card system that let us only play unlimited fighting games, we would go. Tournaments would be great there. 5$ to get the SF card, then 5$ to enter a tourny.
Go Karting: has scared me out of driving. I’m sick dangerous.
Paintball: Hurts like fuck. My Rambo fantasies went up in a cloud of paint and cursing.
and uhhh thats it.
The parent company of Sega City is actually in debt. I believe they are just running operations until their shut down costs are the same as their operational costs. It’s a shame too because that franchise could have been the second coming of the arcade scenes.
lol, what Justin just said is for some reason one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a while. “that franchise could have been the second coming of the arcade scenes.” haha
Anyways, yeah, I know for a fact I can’t make it on friday, mission get jason back in res has started and won’t stop till after I bomb a physics test on tuesday
Fresh Prince is a sick show
Reminds me of the tosf quote from dennis “Can someone tell me how to make grilled cheese”
Pepsi >> Coke
I agree, Beer is the future.
Also thanks for letting me DL off you for like 15hours haha, I’m still going too, gotta get all this shit. Well not all, that’d just be madness.
I hate Fresh Prince, Will Smith is retarded in that show, Carlton and Hilary are funny only cuz they’re stupid. The Ali girl was worth watching tho once she grew up a bit.
I am thinking of opening an Arcade in Sauga, once SagaCity goes… hm…
forget sauga, open one in brampton!
Some party did a taste test once. They served Coke and Pepsi to people without showing them the brand. The result shows that the majority can’t distinguish between Coke and Pepsi. This proves that your perception of which is better is merely a psychological factor.
Interestingly, North America is pretty much the only place where Pepsi is more popular than Coke. Coca-cola is more popular in pretty much anywhere else.
I thought you people are playing on Saturday or something. If it’s Friday, then I can probably come at around 1-1:30. Justin, if it’s Friday, can you please bring PS2 Tekken 5?
Can someone PLEASE tell me if the CvS2 machine is fixed? Last I went there was about a month ago. I want to gauge how much time I should spend at Skybox and the condition of the machine will be a big factor.
Actually, that doesn’t prove anything. Just because the majority can’t distinguish, it doesn’t mean a minority can’t distinguish either. I for one can take the Pepsi taste challenge blind anytime, and I will be 100% accurate on which one is Pepsi and which one is coke. You can even try to trick me by having two of them Pepsi or some sort of rubbish.
They taste different, it’s a fact. Matt knows this. He just has the unfortunate bad taste of liking Pepsi. Coke is clearly better. :badboy:
I’m sure I can tell the difference; Pepsi tends to be sweeter compared to Coke.
