I just called Wizard’s and gasp… something people would’ve never expected… they haven’t made an official decision to close skybox yet. The guy did mention that revenue is decreasing and Wizard is just negotiating rent with the mall itself beacuse it’s getting expensive… so it might close down, just not yet.
Also, CVS2/MVC2 machine costs $1200 bucks on a 19" or 25" cabinet… not the one in the skybox. I think building my own machine might be a little bit more cost efficient =P Where would i get monitor, sticks, and wood and all for that shit?
Yeah, I’d ask on the tech boards for the kind of wood people usually use, and then try and find that. I know SNAAAAKE is a mega fag, but he knows all about sticks and wood (), he’s made a couple of cabinets himself, maybe you should ask him.
I’m fond of plywood and MDF (in that order). Plywood holds fasteners better than both MDF and particle board, and also suffers less water damage than either. AFAIK, it’s not as dense as MDF so it’ll be easier to carry, and it’s stronger than both, too.

If your truely up for getting or making a cabnet…then i suggest looking up how much materials would cost if you were making one…and compare with the $990…
