was fooling around in mvc2 tonight, i just realized that if you do a air grab to an opponent that opponent is considered to be in regular jump mode, which makes a good tactic for guard breaks.
Cable vs. Cable is a common example, after the air throw fp the opponent and if he blocks it while in the air still, his guard will break.

Thanks for the heads up on that down + up = higher jump. My whole game is changed forever. It even works in CvS2.
They’re only in normal jump mode if they tech hit from the throw.
