Chris; I’m not going to make any promises but it looks like I’ll end up buying a comp from you sooner before later. I have been looking for a video card that has a proper TV out so I can play movies off my computer onto my television (you know the layout of my place, they’re side by side). The card I want is only for PC Express though. Considering the cost of replacing the motherboard and the cost of the new video card, I’ll probably just buy a new computer altogether.
dude some of the stock we have in the store right now will blow you away. We got this insane PCI express 512mb DDR2 dual link DVI with TV-out for 189 right now. I’m sure I can get that discounted but I’m not sure how much. However, you most likely don’t need something that insane but for the price and how good it is, it will last you years and years to come. Its probably the best video card I’ve seen to date.
If you’re looking for something else, we have some nice 256 vid cards that are also PCI express going for under 100 bucks which is great. Once again, most likely cheaper once I get my hands on it.
I’m not sure what you think the price of PCI compatible mother boards are but we have some really high quality ones for around $120.
So if you were interested in just getting the vid card and the motherboard without installation charges, you’re looking between 200 and 350 +tax - my discount which might not be much. It all depends on what the cost is to be honest.

anyways curt, if the other parts in your computer are pretty good and up to date I would suggest just getting a new motherboard and the vid card instead of a whole new computer. Unless of course thats what you’re looking for. I’d probably be able to hook up something like what you want for pretty cheap. Let me know what else you would want in a whole new computer and I’ll get back to you with a price.
