First post updated. I had colour coded the damage and stun but when I edited the post and clicked save my colour code disappeared for some reason.
I’ve not added all values. Some combos were too tricky for me but they should all work. Those who have decent execution please post the values and more combos.
It’s been stated several times that
MK.DS, cr.MP xx LK Tatsu will not connect on Blanka. This seems to be the case with Rufus as well. Someone can try it out to verify.
Just another combo using the clMP xx EX Shaku cancel and juggle into Ultra
Combo to stand up opponent from a hit confirm cr.MK. Doesnt work at max range of the cr.MK but it work from pretty far

Yes. c.mk xx fireball, fadc, s.hp xx mk axe kick, c.mp xx lk tatsu, srk/reset. 360 dmg. Pretty ridiculous damage for 2 meters…off a c.mk.
I’ve been messing around with frame trap far s.mp xx mk axe kick. Because you’re standing, people are more likely to hit buttons (they think you’re trying to throw/kara throw), and in a long blockstring s.mp will whiff unless your opponent attacks into it, which should give you a counterhit. On CH it combos into mk axe kick, but if the opponent is crouching I don’t know how much you can combo from. You can definitely do a cr.mp, but if you’re in range for an uppercut that would probably be the best meterless option. Or cr.mp xx EX Tatsu for 1 bar.
Also far s.mp does 80 damage. This is more than any of his other mediums.
When poking at max range with cr.mk, I’ve gotten the habit of buffering a hk tatsu. It gives me a knockdown on hit. Obviously if they’re crouching or blocking I don’t connect, but if they walk into it they’re not doing either of those. cr.mk buffer lk tatsu has worked a few times for me but I don’t know if it’s consistent. You do get a hp srk after the tatsu at that range though.

On the front page why don’t you guys mention j.mp -> mk axe kick or j.mp -> Shakunetsu Hadouken? EX Shaku does more damage than EX Axe kick (although no hard knockdown) and you can U1 after it too.
after the Desk vid went in the lab and lp.srk to U1 no meter is possible and pretty easy to pull off
the only thing is you have to get E.Ryu spaced just right so only like his should hits from the DP causing enough juggle time to land the Ultra
I did what i could with what info was on this thread so far and with what time I had in training mode. If you could give some damage and stun numbers for this stuff I can add it. I didn’t get to try every possible combo and I didn’t even think to try stuff like cl.mp xx red fireball or fadc/j.mp > ryuso/axe kick/demon stomp.
What is the frame for the hitstun for E Ryu’s Ryusokkyaku? I am having trouble connecting cr.mp after a LK or MK ryusokkyaku. Anything to help a fellow Evil Ryu player? Thanks!!!

It is indeed +4. You can’t connect anything off an LK Axe Kick

cr.MP, cl.HP xx MK Axe, cr.MP xx Fireball FADC cr.HP xx MK Axe, cr.MP xx Fireball FADC cr.HP xx MK Axe, cr.MP xx LK Tatsu, SRK (454 dmg / 765 Stun)
If you take that first cr.MP out of the combo and start it with a jump in HP, it will do 491 dmg and 865 stun, which would stun akuma and e.ryu I think.
Oh and I was thinking of some raging demon setups that I’m not sure how to test at all, so if anyone knows how to let me know. Say if you do cr.MP xx LK Tatsu, cr.LP, Axe kick (not sure which version would work best) then Super. The axe kick whiffs while they’re resetting, and if you delay it a bit, it will hit. Would they be able to jump out / do anything else if they held block for a second fearing the axe kick hit?
Only +4? Is his cr. mp 4 frames? That link is kind of tough, but I do land it all the time. Doesn’t seem like it is a 1 frame link. Feels more like 2 or more.
What is the highest damage practical combo that Evil Ryu has? The best I found was
J. HK, cl. HP, EX Fireball, FADC, U2 which is like 582 dmg.
I haven’t found any combos that utilize all 4 meters that does more damage.

Been playing E.Ryu a bit. close standing fierce forces stand letting you combo whatever you want out of it, and If you played akuma the timing of c.lp -> sc.fp is pretty similar. c.lp -> sc.fp xx mk axe -> c.mp xx hk tatsu is pretty much my bnb right now, it does great damage and is pretty simple to hit once you get used to linking out of mk axe kick. Forcing stand out of fierce can also let you combo into lk tatsu, then fierce / ex uppercut for good damage if you dont want to try the axekick combo.
also quick notes:
lk axe combo’s from c.mk. This does more damage and stun (total of 300 stun!) than c.mk xx fireball, and leaves you closer to the opponent. You can take one step forward and throw, uppercut, c.mp, or c.mk are all good options after lk axe kick. c.mk xx lk axe kick does 140dmg/300 stun.
mk axe kick does the least amount of damage and stun from all three, obviously because you can link off it. I think damage is 80 and stun is 100.
hk axe kick is incredibly slow. It does give you a hard knockdown but I don’t know how you’ll ever hit it. EX is better since it overheads and moves way faster.
You can get a lvl2 focus crumple off of ex canceling regular fireball (tight timing) or obviously ex (much easier).
c.mk has insane range. E.Ryu’s far normals aren’t that fast so its really more about picking the right timing and abusing the far range he has, then rushing down and mixing up for big damage. Really solid character design. Only problem is Yun lol.
You’re at about -4, maybe -5 after that, so it’s only good for the surprise factor, which doesn’t last. A better use of that reset would be to do SRK FADC afterwards because you’re only using two bars, if it goes wrong like they back dash and you whiff you aren’t wasting any meter like you would be by blowing your Super, and it leaves them a good few frames to press something.
Also, just generally to everyone posting here;
