You actually don’t need to FADC or dash. You can get an Ultra 1 from pretty far away (about 1.5x sweep distance) with an FP red fireball and about 2x sweep distance with the EX red fireball. But only if they are already in the corner. It works much like Ryu’s EX fireball into Ultra 1.

This is not true. You can combo into it off close standing medium punch as well.

I also just found out that you can Kara Demon off his :f: :mk:. You can advance one whole square on the training stage.

LP and MP are both on 100 dmg with FADC or do i miss something here?

looks like every reset > demon is jumpable :frowning: like j.mp juggle f.mk or lk.tatsu > cr.lp

i like u2 but only 1 combo to get the full animation makes me sad.

and what are you guys using for AA? i mostly use cr.hp all my SRKs trade

cr.lk > cr.lp >cr.lp > far st.mp xx lk ds is going to be my bread and butter for now too simple not to use

I do hp dp have only traded if i did it late unless it was a dive kick. lp srk dragon stomp combo depending on how predictable they are and far standing hard punch to trade with stupid dive kicks after training them with fireballs. I just started back up so my execution sucks so I’m basically playing off footsies and mind games.

If opponent is crouching you can do cr.lp cr.lp cl.hp xx mk.DS and so on!!!

the second cr lp pushes you back too far sometimes making it inconsistent this was discussed before

GO AND TRY works on ryu
It will definitely works after throw as meaty attack. Opp will tech you crouching and you will be max closer.
Of cause it will not work if you will be little away

You can use HP red fireball also.

i don’t know if anyone already posted this combo, but i found out that cr.lp > st.lp > link into st.mp > mk.ds. i also tested it with a jump-in attack. it works. and i also tried it with an extra cr.lp in the beginning and it also worked. hope i contributed something useful

I’ve been testing out his overhead :f: + :mp: and it seems you can actually combo it. I don’t know if this has already been posted. but you can do:

:f: + :mp: > cr. lp/lk > tatsu > HP Shoryu
:f: + :mp: > HP Shoryu

if opp is crouching?
Ryu can combo overhead too if opp is standing

yea seems to only work on standing opponents

oh. I guess I was so excited i found something nobody posted, I didn’t notice it only worked on standing characters. Ah well. back to training mode.

so what you are saying is outside of a set up for it to work its inconsistent thats nice >.>

E Ryu can do

F MP-Shoryu-FADC-Ultra but it is a one frame link I think. It’s useless to throw in the cr lp to l tatsu because you want to catch them with this when they are crouching so you want to go straight to the shoryu.

Is his Down MK in the air dive kick move still just as useless as Akuma’s I am guessing?

And what is with his F MK? can he combo off of that or is it like +2 on block or something weird where he gets to pressure after?

ive been using strong SRK from crouching and beating everything clean.
Just make sure you do it from crouching with the shortcut.
For far AA i would use far Roundhouse or fierce punch,havent really tested the far fierce but i can see it working

You can combo into u2 from non-ex fireballs, you just need to space it a bit. Use long combo strings like c.mp c.mp st.mp xx hadouken fadc u2 or others that have alot of pushback

Far roundhouse is great for anti airs. It’s a horrible footsie and is mainly used for AA purposes. It whiffs on some standing characters (Blanka) at weird ranges. Its probably the funniest hitbox ive seen so far. lol.

CR Fierce is great for AA overall. I usually use that. You guys have any lucky w winning clean w lp shoryu aa to U1?

i need frameson far st hp cuz i use it as a footsie and it works pretty well against some characters. feels faster than cr mk though that may be me.

Whats with these new characters and their far standing HP’s? lol.

onis F HP is GOD LIKE. so much range and dmg. Might be better than dudleys forward HP
