How does Monday night, the 14th sound to people? I can start as early as 2pm until god knows when (late as we want). Found out my last final is that Monday, not today =(.
I’m definitely down for some casuals. I play on a ps3 pad though so do you guys only use 360 setups? It so, I can probably bring a ps3 and 2 controllers bit my tv is too big to take.
i go to smc on and off. Im gonna be trying to crash classes for the fall. Im around Santa Monica enough to roll through if that’s ok. Ill keep up with this thread.
I can bring 2 PS3 TE sticks for those of us who can’t play on pad. :]
But I can’t bring a TV either. TVs seem like the hardest to acquire around here, huh.
i guess i found this thread right in time. im in the culver city area for most of the week. use to go to SMC a long time ago. any room for a scrubby newb in these casuals?

You can count on it happening. If galbi would kindly edit the first post to confirm the date and get some RSVPs so that we can get rolling. We need to double-check setups and double-check the people at are gonna be there.
I can provide address, etc. and once we get some people confirmed, I make sure accommodations are finished by whenever we start (I literally have no time to do so until that day, Monday at 10:50 AM when I finish my final).
I’m excited to make it happen because this can easily become a regular event 
and summer is upon us… so I’ll have the time.

I won’t be able to make it this Monday, but looks like theres enough people to keep it going.
Basically the need for setups is what I need most in the first post. That, and getting people to RSVP/confirm that they’re gonna be here. I have one HDTV with a VGA/Game mode to reduce lag as much as possible.
**What we really need are TVs / Monitors. ** Without galbi’s we are in very, very short supply. So, people! Bring your big OR smaller TV! Anything works. We can make this thing for as long as we want, really… so it should be worth your while.
Other thoughts:
(Food) Domino’s pizza is down the street, as well as Abbot’s Pizza which is orgasmic good, so food shouldn’t be a problem if we all pitch in. Bring your own if you don’t wanna split. Also, Tommy’s is on the corner.
Time: How does 2pm or 3pm sound to people? Who can confirm attendance because if we start that early and go until night, people can still make it even if they can’t come at the start. Once the RSVP/confirmed list gets going, I can start PMing people my address… and making sure the place is ready for action (aka going out and buying some power strips).
Also… sorry to put out so much info in one post, but Monday night seems to be bad for a lot of people interested. I picked that one because it’s the first night I possibly can host it. All the way through Thursday night (the 17th) and Sunday night as well (the 20th). For now, we’ll keep it the 14th.

I wont be able to make it out this Monday but this looks fucking legit… Let me know when more of these are down I have a TV and a ps3 I can bring to one of these events.

I’m definitely down for attending one of these. The 14th happens to be the last day I have classes on Monday, but I don’t get done with classes till about 8 pm. I want to play on a PS3 setup though because I can only use a PS3 pad sadly. So if need be I can possibly bring a ps3 with 2 pads.
Way things are looking there aren’t many that can confirm for Monday the 14th. So…
Other upcoming dates I can also host Wednesday the 16th, Thursday the 17th, and Sunday the 20th. Soon I will have every Friday off so that will open up the rest of summer =)
One last thing. I get home from work about 9:15 pm most nights (like for this next week: Tuesday the 15th and Friday the 18th). I usually stay up pretty damn late so if even a few people are down to play some after that time that’s always welcome too.
Im up for coming any of these days, ill try and come monday if youre still going to be hosting. Hopefully I’ll be taking a at smc this summer so ill be in the area more often.

Monday is good to go. No matter what. I just want another monitor/TV. I have one xbox and one hdtv. Even with just that, Monday is a go. But please, bring your stuff =)
