Santa Cruz

Not much people really go down to boardwalk to play fighting games.

I’m surprised that everyone has it for PS3 and not 360 since most people I know who own consoles here own a 360. We definitely should get some casuals down before finals really hit us hard. Mentioned earlier, College Ten student here

Hey guys, I just found this thread today and I’d be up for playing some sf4 or something although I am horrid at it since I have barely played it. I am currently a student at crown college.

wats ur name robbit. i’ll hit u up on facebook so we can takl directly.

So is Friday a good day for this casual thing to go down?

After 6 i’m down

Robert Leong, I may be down for some SFIV on friday

looked u up on facebook. couldn’t find u. do u have one?

yeah I do, weird you should be able to find me. I don’t think I have like those privacy things on. Gimme your name and I’ll try to find you

I have practice 'til 8…so after 6 is fine. But yeah…if anyone’s down just contact me. My number should be in this thread somewhere.

Hey everyone, im new to the site…but will catch on quick enough. Just got into SF4, and looking for others to challenge…“practice makes better”…i want to be good enough to eventually get into tournaments. I play on the PS3. :nunchuck:

Would people be interested in casuals, and maybe tournaments held in a chill restaurant/lounge setting? This is very tentative. Downtown sc, projector, 360 sf4. Kind of like a sf night festive thing. I’m curious if sc has a large enough sf community to make it worth trying to organize and promote something like this. Doesn’t have to be just sf4. Comments and questions welcome.

Yo MCP hows job life?
Just for the record I can’t really play sf4 yet. (blanka, run away, turtle, poke, throw)

that would be nice but it would be hard gathering all the UCSC fighting game players. I’m sure there are plenty but probably most of them aren’t on this forum. We would have to start small then go from there.

I’m planning another SFIV tournament in college ten in the coming weeks. This time, I’ll advertise it more than just in one building in College Ten. Probably gonna start posting info around the time we get back from spring break and maybe have some flyers up. Until then, probably have bunch of casual nights at my place or somewhere else. I sure love a nice MvC2/CvS2 match here and there

that would be ill…although, any type of gathering will work for now, as stated, gotta start somewhere…im sure I can have some type of house event for sf4, some time in the near future,

If you guys are gonna whip something up with CvS2, I’m so down to play.

anyone down for some SF4 session on the PS3?

im down for watever yall. let’s get santa cruz on the map in this street fighter scene. 831 holla!

Hey since many of you seem to be in it now, lets figure out when we can get together. If you guys can post your free’ish days, I’ll try to figure out good times for everyone. I’m also guessing people here would rather chill at the later PM’s.

Also if any of you have suggestions to a good spot to meet up, that’d be great too.
