If you wanna get to either you wanna take a MST bus to Watsonville, then the 70/71 to Santa Cruz. And from Santa Cruz you can take the 17 to San Jose. Seems like a hassle though, wouldn’t be worth it.
MST up till watsonville, then 70/71 to santa cruz? sounds good. Is the 70/71 another bus route or a different system altogether?
Its a different system all together (The Santa Cruz Metro) It’s 1.50$ a ride, and it goes by every half hour i believe.
So is the SC area getting any hype?
Right now I’m in Japan, but Im jones’n to get back to Covina and get some SF4 games down at Super arcade. I really hope the BW does get that shit…too fun.

Have fun during your frosh move in! If i’m not busy up to my ass, then i’m coming down to ucsc to play some casuals. Hope I’ll see and play with you (as well as the rest of the SC crew). As for hype, it looks like it’s starting to build up. Either way, I’m considering on going back to school at UCSC for another major. So far, there’s a 20% chance that I’ll be returning for the next year. But if I end up going, then I’m going to make a fighting game club.

Shit, I’m still getting owned by Dudley/Ken users in 3s- I haven’t been practicing lately- however the arcade down the street started getting more business ever since SF4 got there. Meaning lots of people play 3S waiting for their turn : )

Naw, I live in Covina…which is in the LA area actually. Currently we only have two machines for one on one versus on SF4 which is at Super Arcade. Somehow, the owner managed to put the thing on two MvC2 cabs w/out HD screen and it costs 75c a pop to play plus it’s like an hour wait.
But the other arcades around the area are already building their own cabinets and are just waiting for the electronic equipment to arrive like Arcade Infinity. I think there are two more arcades besides AI that are getting SF4 shipped to the states. Although, they’re imports so no card/network system is available which sucks. But Neiman has been playing helluva lot more than I am, I think- so he would know better.
But you say SJ has one, too?
