unlike san jose or wherever else, san francisco is a very packed city. everything is close in proximity and its both a curse and a blessing. on one hand its easy to go from point a to point b in the city in 15 mins or less by car, but on the other hand, open space and houses in the city are small, compact and glued to one another. and thats if you live in a house.
thats why its so hard to find a place to host get togethers without neighbors/roomates complaining about noise if we do decide to play until 4 in the morning.
space is definitely a problem in san francisco. i don’t know of any open space people can meet and play. i think sf state have a few rooms where some smash players set up their consoles and play but i’m not sure how that exactly works.
for some reason, its really hard for people to have a schedule which works with one another in the city. most of us have school, work and other things to do and when we do find the time to sit down and play, others are busy with their schedule.
hopefully this won’t discourage people to get together and play. san francisco does have a lot of good players to offer but can anyone find the right time and right place to get together?

Maybe the reason why I’m itching to play is coz i havent gotten a job yet. I just moved, waiting for places to call me. So I guess when i start working playing will be the last of my worries lol

Hey this sounds freakin sweat to me im down to come anytime. Im only 20 though lol but ill be 21 in a month and all my friends have been looking for a place to play so ill definitely spread the word about this and im sure i could get at least 10 people to come. All my friends are 21 and older im just the young one lol.
Yea this is very true, I have a pretty good amount of space where we could it at least 15 people and get a few set ups going so we have the space. As far as peoples schedules thats a big problem. What i can do is bend my schedule to others schedule but it would have to be like a vote as to what day and time to do it and then from there i would change my work schedule so tht i can host. I made a thread about it its titled “sf4 at wolfgangs crib”. I dont care who comes i just wanna play and get better, n frisco i see a lot of people who dont like to play with certain people but i think people need to put tht aside but if not then it is wht it is. If anyone wants to come just post in the thread and hit me up with a pm and ill give you my number and we can get started. The sessions are currently on hold until i get a good amount of people, i have the equipment just need the players. If anyone is down hit me up.
Also what i was thinking was we could have four people host once a week tht way were covered for the month and nobody will noise complaints and there wont be consistent noise at someones place so the neighbors wont trip. Im offering to be one of these people if we got three more then i think we got a solid plan for frisco and all we need from there is the day and time of each host. Let me know what you guys think

For sure man, if I do get my place and everything around July I won’t actually be starting school until mid September. I will probably be up for playing whenever any of you guys hold anything. I have to learn my way around the city and stuff though I have only been to SF two times ever so it seems kinda overwhelming to learn where you guys are talking about.

At Grimmz’s on Tuesday you said you may also be getting a PS3. I just wanted to throw it out there that I have a FightStick for PS3 as well, along with my 360 one. I have no problems bringing both my FightSticks if needed!
Other than that, I’m down to hang-out + level-up like pretty much any night of the week, as long as the GF don’t bitch me out too much
