well i dont know about you guys but i’ve been goin to the meets in Berkley(EUDEMONIA) and it’s 10x better then playin in the city. i live in the mission and bart form here to Berkley is 7.60 round trip…lol but yeah everyone from here should at least try it out one time since theres’ ALWAYS meets on Saturdays. it’s a good crowd of ppl (different lvls of players, mostly mid-tier and high-tier), theres hella places to eat around there and it’s not far from the Bart station.
i mean hosting are good but there jus like once in a blue moon here…and Metreon may have SSFIV in there arcade but it still doesn’t match up to how much more you save at EU. The only place that will get SSFIV would be RnC at SFSU but it’ll take hella long for that to happen…
It just occurred to me, there is a 24 hour Starbucks in San Bruno, across from Tanforan where the Best Buy is. I have a 19in monitor and and can bring my ps3, or if anyone has a bigger monitor. We can kick out outside or inside or whatever. Anything to get some real practice in.
Sounds fun, but I’m working 50 hour weeks so it is really hard to find the time to head out there. Lol I have a hard enough time making to the sessions IN the city, which so far I haven’t. Not to mention I wouldn’t even put myself close to mid-tier as a player. Right now my enthusiasm for playing is much higher than my ability, but hopefully with time that can change.
Anyways man thanks for the feedback from EU and bash some heads in for us SF guys-represent.
If anyone wants to play this sunday night, I’ll try to clear it with my roomies. Same time as last week, 8-11:30 games. PS3 and 360.

Hey guys I move into my place in San Francisco yesterday I am right next to UCSF. I would like to meet up some time with any HDR players in the area since my internet sucks and can’t play online and I have a month to kill before school starts.

Dope. It’s Blue Tall Cans… welcome to the bay! Head to forums.sirlin.net (rm 314) if ur looking to network that HDR. San francisco itself doesn’t have a whole lot of venues for games, but the surrounding regions are good for mostly SF4.
I’ll probably get Vestax to host a weekend session if he’s available. Gotta welcome u right!
