i can’t drink that stuff so i guess i had a pretty good advantage. It’s all about 5 hr energy!
Wow you changed your av, this is a sign!
Jared, thanks for letting me come over and get some games in. Your place was tight and so was the setup. I had a blast. Nice Rose!
Good games all around. Young legend, you’ve got the dope skillz.
Thanks again.
Yup, gotta continue my search for the girl in the grey hoody. :wonder:
$20 first to 5, Rog vs. Viper on two TE sticks, you down?!
I would just like to vouch for Paul (Tension), he is a super chill dude, and good at fighting games. Told me he “couldn’t get in to Keystone” last time (lol, shit is elite now , right?) You should let him come to KSlight.
And Ricky (Omega Blue) too. Really cool guy, beast in SF4.
Just my 2 cents.
Not like your word means anything (no idea who you are), but you can pass word along to both of them that they can shoot me a pm to come; KSL is open to basically everyone. I know both of them personally.
On a related note, if you want to $20 FT5 any of your chars vs my Chun, I’m down to do it live.
This is Kieran, bitch, what the fuck did you think?! Ha, Fuck your Chun, I’ll MM both you losers. Time and place?!
Edit: Tomorrow at Onikage’s??!
why not?
So, not to FREAK ANYONE OUT or anything, but after talking quite a bit, Rival and I have been throwing around the idea of finding a spot to rent out for KSLight. The main ideas to take away from this are…
- KSL is growing way too fast, and my space is definitely too small to house it. If we rented something out, we could invite even more folks, have more setups, be as obnoxious as we want, ect.
- The stream is doing great and we’re having a lot of fun with it, so we’d have a lot more space and freedom to setup something like a legitimate studio, turn the broadcast into a legitimate weekly show. This is of course, after I start my new job and have sweet, sweet money once more. I’d be investing in video equipment regardless, so it all works out.
- We’d definitely have to start asking for donations, just like Keystone II, which wouldn’t be more than $5-10 bucks. This would of course go directly to the venue.
The way we see it, we have a lot of talented folks amongst us and it feels like we have a great opportunity to give a huge boost to the scene, much like Gootecks is doing for the folks down south. So if anyone has any bright ideas on the subject of venus, we’re all ears.
Also: less people at my place next week
I think it would be nice to rent out a place every week, but the question is how much would it cost? We have a lot of regulars now, last night I think I did a headcount and we had 18 in Jared’s apartment. Plus on top of that we didn’t have all our regular’s (that had previously come) like Negroninja, Ouroborus, Kieran, etc.
Also, just to keep in mind, we’d need internet access in the place we rent, and enough bandwidth to stream.
Bringing my laptop for the commentary booth was a good idea, so we could directly interact with the people watching the stream.
what would be the limit of how many people can come for next week?
Like, 12
when we had like 13 ppl at my house I was trippin…lol
Yo im definitely donating and i will definitely try to give more than 5 to 10 dollars so when everything is official just let me kno and im dwn to pitch in. Also i work at best buy and get a incredible discount so if there is any electronics that need to be bought let me kno ahead of time so i can get you the price alrite. Thanks J
WHOA! Please count me in as one of the 12!
I’m in next week too
whoa whoa me 2 me 2 :bgrin:
I already pm’d him! D= Everyone else back off! :crybaby:
I’m a little skeptical about the renting out thing. I like what we have. 12 people was perfect, we could even chip in $2 for like the pizza and some soda/beer. If your not a regular than your not in. Simple as that! Just do what KSII does, if your not invited than don’t come.
If you want more setups and overall better competition in fighting games than go to keystone II for $5
