i wouldn’t say i hate the game per se but i am pretty apathetic about it these days. i understand our top players have grown to hate the game because some were wrongfully and rightfully nerfed (yeb and nemo) but if they don’t wanna play the game anymore than its time for newer people to step up and assume those positions! i’ll try and make it out to the box either next week or the week after so the newer attendees of the box can get a taste of some shirtless buff french mercenary lovin. :lovin: or i’ll get bodied because i sux

This is pretty natural for the fighting game scene actually.
Evolution marks the end of the year. Just like there’s baseball season and football season, we kind of have a fighting game season. It usually lasts from March/April (EC majors) and ends at Evo. After Evo, people generally take a couple months off before slowly getting back into it. Some people drift away, some people ninja train up and level themselves up to top level by the time the season kicks into full swing the next year. Just kind of how it goes.
Also, this thread is much less lively because it has less nemo. His violent rage improves us all.

so true. ever since i was MIA at the end of may and watching the streams to see how many new people are in the scene or which characters seems interesting or what not. it made me want to fight harder and plan to create more tricks and strategies. no more random chaos dice etc or the bs i done stupidly. time to level up my game tnefold

but school, work, bills, girlfriend, and everything else you need to live a semi normal life gets in your way
if it was like back in the T5 DR days i would be out more playing i would drive up to LA every week for DR tourney or even just casuals with those dudes

dude lagade i could seriously make a video of all the shit that happens that shouldn’t happen and the the fact that doing the right thing to someone that is doing something stupid gets payed off perfect example: an idiot is jumping a lot on ryu but his jumpin has a lot of active frames you shoryuken like your suppose to and it trades who wins that trade… the idiot jumping so you have to waste meter to ex shoryuken so it doesnt trade same with st. RH and cr.F
thats why i play sagat again and not ryu at least when the idiot keeps on jumping I can still trade and do a F.RH to ex tiger shot or ultra. plus what i’m saying right now is fucking stupid too.
