Hey guys, been a while. Just wanted let you know the 3s in SD is WAY better than where I am now. I went to 5 arcades and none of them even HAVE THE GAME!! GGACore, Arcana Heart, and melty blood are the 3 2d fighters they play.
Tokyo and Osaka are very different stories. I went to Sportsland and kaikan (Tokyos 2 best arcades) the weekend before SBO and got WHOOPED! Everyone was tighting up their game for the SBO I ended up playing YSB and a few other well known players. Needless to say, my ratio was about 1 win to 9 loses.
Later in Osaka I went to Monte 50 and saw even more craziness. They fucking love VF in Japan. Tekken 5 and VF 5 are the most popular games. Each game had maybe 6 or 7 machines, each one with about 3 people on it (2 players and 1 watcher/guy in line)
They also had 5 3s machines and 5 superT machines. These always had at least 4 or 5 guys on each game. While there I played Hayao (Kurodas teammate) and got whooped. Between YSB and Hayao, I have learned to really fear a good Hugo.
Now, in Okayama I want to kill myself. Im over an hour from the closest arcade and even then, they dont have 3s. If I want good comp I have to take a 3.7 HOUR bus ride to Osaka. OK I have to go now, supposed to do some work.

Any news on when boomers will get new stuff on their 3s machine? Or new games for that matter?
just came back from boomers and everything on the machine is good. new competition sticks and convex buttons have been put on. as for new games i couldn’t find anyone to talk to about that. anyone down for some games at boomers tonight? post up
