Back in my day though (old man mode on), “serious” money matches were for $100. Two guys playing for $100 and the whole arcade would gather round and everyone would get all excited. Now? $100 money match isn’t even a big deal. I mean, it’s not like DucJr and Clock are the best of the best or anything. And they’re randomly playing for 5k. Supposedly on IRC last night, Potter was saying that DucJr wanted to play him for money, but only for 10k or more. And I’m sitting here thinking about that just thinking…damn. I could have used 10k back in 01. Hell I could use 10k right now.

On a completely unrelated note I’m gonna be training Marvel for a few weeks. Is Nickel the only place for Marvel or do people play at Plaza or what?

pretty crappy imo. only 1 cab works, where the sticks are some cheesy 360’s that are super tall, and the 1p side doesnt dash with the punch buttons that well, or normal jump that well… :looney:
