Fuck man, I can’t go today (thursday) but i -may- be able to head on down on monday. I wanna get some rematches in with Viscant on mvc2. This time I’ll stand a chance.

tourny on monday at nickle? also what sticks are working there. last time i went , all 3 marvel machines sucked dick, but the cvs2 machine was good.

When I was there on Friday, 2 of the Marvel machines were working and the CvS2 machine was working also.

Normal tournament rules apply as to which glitches are allowed, which aren’t. If you don’t know…you really should by now.
Games are on pay-per-play.

Enter with me, not with any of the staff at Nickel city. For those who don’t know me, I’m the best looking guy there, pretty easy to find me.
Brackets are drawn up randomly. I will seed top 2 based on common sense. Like if Tong and Chris are there, they get top seeds in Marvel, everyone else goes in the hat.
Depending on time and/or stick condition, we may switch to 1 game, or 1 game in losers. Probably not a factor because we’re getting a pretty early start and when we used to have weeklies, we could get a 16 man double elim CvS2 tournament done in 4 hours on 1 machine, so I have no doubt we’ll finish even if on one machine for both games. But still, if the decision has to be made, I will make it, so no complaining.
Late entries are allowed…just don’t be late. Byes are always given to the top 2 seeds if we have an uneven number of players. If you come late, you have a very high likelihood of starring in a Sentinel combo video or getting kicked in the dome by Yamazaki 50 times.
That’s about it.

Tournament today! My brother had a question about it: once you pick your team, do you have to stay with it for the entire tournament, or can you switch for every fight?
Heres an Example I’ll use (this is what we used to do at Nickel)
Say you are in on CvS2, and your playing all shotos and you win the first game in a best of 3. You must keep that team. Say you lost next game though. Then you can change to a diff team for the final game in the best of 3 matches.
I’ll most likely be there today. I’m not 100% sure though so whatevs. If I’m not there then Good luck to Tommy vs. Viscant and genghis.
