We now know what to do next time since it was pretty much our first time throwing a tourney like this (last few major Pentland tourneys were done by Zaza and co., I believe). Yo, everybody. I’m throwing a tourney, both CVS2 and MVC2 at Gamelordz on June 12 (Saturday). No shit, Evo’s going to be all console, so you might as well get some tourney practice with your sticks. Tourney should start at 3 PM, so sign-up start at 1:30. Give me some feedback on this people, but it is definitely going down.

Where is a good arcade to play in the san diego area? Are there any tournaments around here?
well nickel city has gone to shit. cause nickel city just sucks. but its the cheapest arcade in San Diego. and has the best comp but no one goes there anymore. As for tournys u will probably never get to one cause no one wants to trow them and when sombody does throw one no one has the courtesy to show the fuck up.
As a reply to the last post, I have the details for the tourney for CVS2 and MVC2 going down at Gamelordz on June 12. This will only be a Capcom tourney, so y’all don’t have to worry about being pushed out by the Tekken heads. Games are $7 apiece with $5 to get in. That only $19 for both tourneys! CVS2 is going to be on PS2, because we have to have roll cancelling, and MVC2 is going to be on DC. Bring your own sticks and tell everyone about this one. I want to make this the big practice tourney before Evo for So Cali, or at least for SD. I will be posting this in other forums too. as i said the reason why no one has tourney is not because anyone is willing to thow one but not enough poeple shows up to one. i’ll be glad to thow a tourney at nickel every week but why the fuck should I no one ever shows up it turns out to be just casual play.
I got a question for u tho. why do u thow capcom tourneys if no one there plays them? and for a 7 dollar entry fee.to get what practice for evo? ur last tourney that us nickel heads whent to the tourney for cvs2 was canceled because of not enough entrants and only 1 of the cats that play there entered the mvc2 tourney. why should we go to ur tourney if no one is gonna enter it. but yea we could get practice for evo. wait only 1 guy there plays marvel thats not practice for evo. we could get more practice by ourselfs and not waste our time and money goin there. lowering the tourney fee by 3 bucks aint gonna get us evo practice.
