Yo Duc help me throw a tourney this Jan @ Glady’s.
Tourney at Gladys? Hmmmmmmmmm - guess you could throw a tourney for the 3 major games like 3s, mvc2, and cvs2. I work saturdays dude - don’t think I can help run one if you’re going to have it on that day. I could probably get some one to help you though if you want to get this done. I prefer fridays but I’m sure a lot of folks probably won’t be able to make it due to work or school.

Gonna fix up the mistakes that some things have been posted about PSM.
-The address: 632 not 932; or the easiest way to also find it: across from San Bernardino Valley College.
-Sticks: I am currently little by little switching back to competition switch sticks w/ hard springs:(taken out from the 360s I pull off). I’m sick and tired of 360s not being what they used to be in the past and it’s just a waste of money. Currently: 3s, the two MvC 2s (showcase and standard cabinets) Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum, and X-Men vs. SF have competition sticks. CvS 2 and the two MvC 1s (showcase and standard cabinets) still have 360s.
-Games: as you probably just saw from the last portion: Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum-replaced SF Zero 3 Upper, and X-Men vs. SF-replaced Raiden Fighters. You probably ask why I decided to put in Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum?? Well, I got the board for free along with my purchase of Metal Slug 6 (also a new addition to the arcade).
-Rumor regarding last tourney: well, I did mention that the summer tournament from 2006 was the last one. So I do not have any tournament thoughts in mind at this time and probably will not plan any in the near future.
Haha I wouldn’t go to Glady’s for comp at all, unless you want to play random mexican’s that wake-up super in cvs2. I went to Glady’s last week and saw an old player called “Squid” that used to frequent Glady’s, we started talking about old times with Manny running shit LOL Anyway, we got bored and went to drink instead. <3 Glady’s.
As far as PSM goes, great place but hours aren’t too hot. Not to mention that it dosen’t open if it rains since it’s an outdoor thing =/. I also wouldn’t recommend anyone going there to pick up chicks since 99% of the females there are either MILF’s and or jail bait. Either way, just say no.
James Games is the best just because of their business hours and vending machine having sour skittles =). Sticks are random though and most decent players are banned from JG, so if Rick is there, they aren’t =(.

He bans people for saying fuck in the arcade at night like - damn fuck I lost, or damn fuck that’s not what I meant to do, or Imma fuck you up nigga and shit like that. He even bans people for being loud during matches cause he says its just too loud for an arcade ( does that even make sense? ). He even one time took money from the pot without letting people know and one time I said you know what - you didn’t say anything about that so for this time we shouldn’t a percentage out but in the future as long as its posted then people will know what to expect. He took money from the pot regardless of what rational reasonings we had. Anyhow - this is only a short list of dumb things hes done to people -

Wow. Too loud for an arcade? Wtf? Those music games make a hell of a lot of noise. Not nearly as loud as someone can be by being loud during a game. Gay. Oh well, it’s the only place close enough to me to play 3S. And it has UMK3 which is an added bonus.
He bans people for a number of things but most of the serious bans come from fighting or drinking/smoking in the parking lot.
I almost got banned for unintentionally blowing cigarrette smoke into the arcade.
JG could be one of the greats if it wasn’t owned by a greedy prick. It’s likely that Rick will be there tonight(Fri) and not tomorrow(Sat) but I’m going tonight instead since tomorrow is the NFL WildCard Playoff’s =p.
