Yeah i always liked the art too. My favorite was the Sorceress Queen cuz she had big boobs! Heh, jk, but i did love that card cuz she could make any other creature her bitch, turning it into a 0/2. When i played Magic i usually stuck with fast Red/Green weenie decks or complicated counter White/Blue decks. (Wrath of God + Counters is an ass to deal with)
I just kinda stopped at the end of 8th grade cuz the fad was over and it does cost a shitload to keep ur cards up to date, especially with tourney rules and crap. My obsession was pretty bad tho, cuz i used to walk 3 miles to the Card store every other day to buy some cards. Me and my friend used to go out and steal cards from smaller kids, lol. I still have all my cards too.
Haha still haunts me to this day, my sister embarrassed me bad when i was with this girl I like and she busted out with a joke about my Magic playing days. Ugh.

Well me and acouple of friends were gonna head out for the tourney ,but things came up ,some friends of mine were leaving to chicago so it was the same day as the tourney. So i chose friends over a tourney thats why didn’t go. Either way if anyone wants to come down for acouple of games in kof or whatever Soulcalibur hehe just go to Diversions by culebra i’m the Big Tall thing :xeye:

Just wanted to leave an announcement in here regarding a tourney that my friend Joe from Culebra Diversions and I want to hold for Marvel.
We’re thinking of making it on the 16th, which is a week from Saturday.
Basically, it’s going to be $3 to enter, best two-out-of-three, and I’ll talk to the manager to make sure that he checks the game on the day of the tourney.
We’re looking to start at around 7, so we’ll be taking registrations beginning at around 5:30.
Rules simply are:
Nobody’s banned, but infinites and glitches are prohibited. Other than that, Joe and I are both open to possible suggestions.
Anyway, hope you all can make it, and I’ll be off and on of SRK to check up on things here.

Well then that’s half the game. Anyone who plays Iron Man/Storm/Sent/Rogue/Tron/Juggernaut/Doom/Cyke and a few others can’t pick them. Gotta rethink your rules man.

It does make sense to, though, seeing as how that is a part of the gameplay here and now.

Yeah, cuase it’s a huge part of a lot of the cast’s gameplay.
Jug - Powerup Glitch
Sent - Unblockable crouching hp, unfly, semi inf. super
Tron - Glitched assist
Rogue - Speed up inf, teleport glitch
Ken - Air hurricane glitch
Mag - Inf, throw glitch on Colossus
Iron Man - Inf
Doom - Corner Inf, unblockable crouching rh kick
Cyke - Inf
Blackheart - Inf
Storm/Rogue/Psy/Felicia/Mag/Sakura/Ken/Akuma all have Sent-only infs.
The glitches that usually are banned are ones that break the game like Ruby and Gambit. Inf’s can be avoided and don’t automatically mean you lost. To be honest I wouldn’t enter the tourney as it is. I use Rogue’s speedup glitch a lot and semi inf. And no I’m not being scrubby, half the cast have glitches that help them out a lot.
How bout everything goes cept game breaking glitches?
I say you should ban Roll.
