Jaime, a lot of the 3s cabinets are gone, I can’t really think of anywhere they’re at anymore. As for T5, I believe Rivercenter Mall is the place for that.

Yep there’s some decent ppl that play mvc2 at the diversions on s-w-m… I can be there any time after 6… and most of the other ppl have school n stuff so they go around 4…

jaime- whats the deal with the players out there. i played this 2nd dan steve but plays like a beg. do people suk that bad in austin where its so easy to get ranked up? i mean damn. atleast i get 80% of my losses from good peeps in SA. moogle,jody mostly, and nacho, turliz also when he picks freakin steve.

Where are you coming from?
burst is used when your character is being combo’d, when you use the burst it get him out of the way, but it is hard to build that burst meter again so use it as a last resort or something.
I think sol has new moves in X-2, and better combos, not so sure about the first one, havent played that one in a long time.
Sup man. Basically, all the “good” players are gone right now. When the game came out, there were about 3 really good people, and like 10 people who played T4 and TTT alot…but just fundamentally suck at fighting games. And the 3s people(alex,mike,hsien,ryan, I…more people) have NEVER played 3d game before T5 came out. But T5 is where the comp is, so we are learning 3d together. So, the 10 people who were OKAY, beat us and ranked up very fast b/c we really really sucked when the game came out and we were serious about learning it, so we spent TONS of money on the game. Now, the 3s people, are even with, if not better than the 10 avg. people(the 2nd dan Steve is one of those 10), but the best people in austin are out of town right now, cept for zors i think. So yeah, if your good, then you’ll prolly beat almost everyone here in town. But, I can’t wait to go to S.A. and watch/play more, b/c I suck at T5, and i want to get better. See you tomorrow…maybe, if i’m free by 2.

Good games joe, nice meeting you…Diversions is an alright place but i think the controls take some getting use to, wish i could have stayed longer, cant believe i didnt connect fastfly even once but o well.
Ill be in austin in the middle of january for school so if you ever come up let me know and ill try and get eric, minh, and ever1 together to play also if im ever in SA ill be sure to post, and yea thanks for showing up on such short notice
Well atleast you admit they arent good. I am little above average T5 player i think. Watch Moogle and jody play. See some cool mix ups and good skill. Anyways most likely if i dont work saturday i will be in Austin again but this time when more people are there. 8 ish i would say. I am going to E’s mainly for 3s since thats what austin is know for but if theres more T5 comp then ill be there.

Note: man, that sucks for the houston people that Stargate is closing down for them, that is were like the best MvC2 players play at, that place was pretty much there birth of badass MvC2 players and other games. I was going to go Stargate during my next spring break, but it closed down, that sucks.

Yea it does suck ass i was ready to get games in with the top players in the south basically and then it closed …hopefully another place will open up … but hey Sinister you should still come down there during ur spring break, i believe texas showdown happens at that time, its the 11th-13th …ur going to get to play some of the best marvel players in the nation

not to be harsh towards SW but they should close that place down along with SP and expand culebra like PB. everything is broken or doesnt work at both locations i mentioned.
anyways ill be at ingram later on today around 6pm i hope depends on what time i get off from work. but first ill hit up RC for some games and if nobody shows ill be at ingram

South West Diversions will probably won’t even close, i think San Pedro is because i hear that hardly any people go there.
