Soul Calibur 2 (I quit along time ago when i was in my prime cause the game got boring to me. I havent played in months, but i guarantee ill still beat you down with Xianghua. Yknow what? The Korean with the glasses is WhenTheSkyFalls aka Chong aka Erik. I’m the fat dude that sits at the counter most of the time talking to Victor. I saw you out there today but I was (and am still) buzzing from some rounds of drinks at the bar and felt too good to bother with this matter.

On a side note, do you know why I dont play KoF seriously? Its because the community is almost nonexistant in Texas, particularly here in SA. If it was a big community like Tag, SC2, 3S, MvC2, CvS2, etc, then i would play it. (And yes, all these communites were huge in SA, and they have comp for it all thruout Texas. Granted theyre gone but theyre waiting for the next big game. For me? Its T5.) Yalls KoF community is small. Why do you think there are no big tournies for it? Or major national events like Evolution, TiT, Electric Cancel, Extravaganza, etc. including it in theyre game roster? Cause the games not big/popular enough in the US, otherwise, I would play it. If I play a game, I would want to go to national events to show my skills, and not claim to be a master with just local competition. KoF does not satisfy this.

The only large KOF tourneys since I quit going to arcades were dominated by out of town players. As Kamui posted, Ben from Austin, ddr_gakusei from Dallas, Kamui from Austin.
As for any other games, uh, SA isn’t exactly a hotbed of non-Namco activity. Marvel was *dp and I and then an enormous cutoff. 3S was KAOS and Cory and an enormous cutoff. CvS2 was…oh wait, no one plays that.
People need to chill out, unless your name is Justin Wong or Daigo or something there is always someone better. And seeing as how the scene is in SA (um, nonexistant?) that’s a lot of fucking someones that are better.
At this point, no one really plays anything, since alot of us are waiting for the next best thing. And yeah, alot of people DO play CvS2, but only @ SAC, and thats dominated by Legendary Gokou (Nem). 3S? Yeah, I agree, Jimmy and Cory. TTT? Ramin, BJ, ryu, etc… Jason said it was you (Joe) and someone else for MvC2…
