As for being the shit at every game, nah im not. I wont brag at a game UNLESS I AM the shit at it. UMK3/MKT is something i do dominate in. If you think youre even remotely good at it, ill be happy to beat you down in it. Ill even include SC2 even though i suck at it now. TTT im barely decent in. Above average in 3S, GGXX, CvS2 and Hyper. Good in CFE and VF4. Played some KoF @ Culebra, got some wins against what were probably scrubs, but i really dont care for that game either so why bother? Upon playing @ Christians house, we all realized it feels choppy. You like it, good for you…

to me UMK/MKT are like killer instict. doesnt really take much to win and requires no skill in my opinion. throwing projectiles and waiting for 1 to make a mistake.

Youre thinking MKII. No one (and i do mean no one) does that in UMK/MKT. If someone tried to do that with me in UMK, they would die in less than 10 secs. UMK is ALL RUSHDOWN. Ask anyone whos seen me play, anyone whos played the game on a competitive level, or any high level vids. Christian has seen me play. Never any turtling. Hes seen me rip people apart in seconds trying to turtle. And yes, unlike MK1 and MKII, UMK/MKT DOES take skill to win. Skills in execution, baiting, and if you cant react fast, you lose.
And what i mean by “execution skills”, i mean that all damage in the game is done manually. No supers to rely on, no auto combos. In UMK/MKT, if you fuck up a combo, its completely your own fault. (Im not talking about the dial-a-combos either) And a fuck up can cost you, like in SFII.

If you think those games require no skill then you’re a moron. Last time I saw you try to play Killer Instinct you got your ass handed to you. If it takes no skill to win then you should be able to go in there and tear everyone up, right? Of course you can’t go beat everyone because you lack the “skill” or at least the mental capacity to beat them. Killer Instict requires some hardcore thinking to play competitively. You can’t rush in blindly, and you can’t sit back and do nothing, so you have to find a way to land a hit, because its not going to land itself, and besides even if you land that 1 hit you can still break the combo, if you have the enough “skill” to do so. As for me, MvC2 is my game, and that game doesn’t do any combos for you automatically. If you want, I’d be happy to give you money matches on that one. :nunchuck:
