I usually throw them once a few months at Gamers Edge. However, I’ll try to do different arcades and such because GE is far for a lot of people. I’ll try to switch it around, but I doubt ANYBODY can ever do a successful tourney at Rivercenter mall. Too damn busy. Maybe around Jan I’ll throw a 2D tourney, I’ll see what’s up though.
Not to mention Rivercenter isn’t exactly the most accessible place for most folks. :tdown:
Hey does anyone here besides LG play CvS2. I picked the game up since I saw it at EB for 10$ and I’m considering giving it a whirl. MvC2 is pretty much the only game I play and I’d like to give something else a shot. Any advice on gameplay, tiers, or techniques would be greatly appreciated. All I know, as of right now, is that Sagat and Blanka are top tier, and that A Groove is hard as hell to use.
i think there top tier cause of there range and damage they do.
hardest groove to use is by far P-groove. no where near as easy as in 3s. i play and use A groove- ken, sakura,blanka.
its a fun game to play but just for fun. nobody plays it seriously enough in SA cept a small handfull.
mostly all buses lead to downtown.
if your going to throw a tourney, host it at CZ.

There’s a small number of people that play CvS2 other than myself. About … 5 others. Of them, all but 1 has officially turned to Capcom Fighting Jam. Ah well … I had a good reign. :sad:
Btw, everyone should pick up Budokai 3. Too good with the mixups! :tup:

Fighting Jam is CvS2, watered down like hell. Its OKAY, but … everything is far too limited. As of right now, anyway.
As for Budokai, I dont have a main character. I think it would go without saying who I always pick, but right now I’m just trying to get the mixups right. I downloaded the tutorial over in Fighting Game Discussion, that stuff is dirty! Definately geered towards rushdown, but the computer was kicking my ass with teleport counters during my combos.

Yeah, I have a hard time getting something decent to munch of Thanksgiving since the kitchen is being used by my family to prepare the turkey. Unfortunately, I don’t like Turkey/Ham/Stuffing/any other thanksgiving food, and since all the nice restaurants are closed, I go to Jack in the Box and grab my own little Thanksgiving feast, Exo style. :bgrin:
