Hello all, I’m new from OK. Where is good arcade do all people meet here?
People don’t. There hasn’t been an arcade scene for just over a year now. I’d go more but it’s like almost a half hour drive to Perren Beitel for me. If ya’ll are gonna be there any given night post up and I’ll go cause I don’t wanna waste that much gas for nothing. Laters.

I used to run bimonthly tournaments here for 3S and MvC2. However I haven’t given a shit in well over a year and I play fighting games about once every two months, and that’s being very generous. For Marvel 2, there was never really a crowd, just me and this cat named Derrell and a few others who are good too (Drumliner is one). 3S, best player was KAOS, he cares less than I do now. Apparently a lot of people play that at the Perrin Beitel Diversions now, some are OK, Oro player named Cory is good…probably the best one who still plays a lot. That no one ever made a new SA thread after I made this one (in 2002) should tell you something.
San Antonio had a big Tekken/SC2 following, I’ve been waaay out of the loop though and I have no idea if they still play a lot or where. Used to be mostly Culebra Diversions.
So I’d say if you wanna play Namco, try Culebra Diversions. 3S, try Perrin Beitel. MvC2, post up and maybe Skyfalls or Utsu or Drumliner will meet you (or maybe I’ll be incredibly bored and go). CvS series, you’re out of luck, sorry, no cabs.
And Erik - haha, just let this thread die. Make a new one if you like. Preferably one with an accurate date in it.

The perrin beitel store is now closed for good.
All 3S machines are gone except for the one at San pedro. But that has shitty controls and none of the managers want to fix ANYTHING! I think they’re either gonna close the southwest military store or they are moving it to another location. I dont know exactly because they dont tell us dick. and they dont care.
I think the southwest military store has been throwing MVC2 tournys but no one knows about it. 
I’d like to get some games in but ive got other things going on in my life like school, work, and cancer. so until i fired or drop out of school, i wont be able to do much.
so you guys should play more games.
Wait wait…Perrin Beitel’s CLOSED?? As in, not open? When the hell did that happen, I live four minutes away from it. Um, oh well?
As for SW Mil, yeah they’ve had a few MvC2 tournaments. Where Sentinel and Blackheart and Cable were banned. Come the fuck ON guys, is this 1999? I didn’t know there WERE scrubs anymore. I’m not going to waste any time explaining to them that Storm is worse, or showing them that Spiral is just as bad, or whatever. I’d also rather not get shot.
Um, if you guys wanna play, I guess I’m down sometimes. Make a new SA thread though, just let this one go, haha. I have 2 MAS sticks that work on PS2 and DC, and um, both those systems.

Update on the gaming scene.
Kof2k3 and Mvc2 are what most people play now. Kof2k3 has good comp at culebra and KI if you still play that game. MvC2 is mostly played at SW military since its 1 token and some play at Culebra. There pretty good in my case since am barely getting back into MvC2. SW military is having another MvC2 tourney i think on may8th. Another gay rule. No cables? Thats the best place to play Mvc2. They always fix the sticks, they put in on free play at nights and theres some ok people to play against.
But if you all play Kof2k3 come play me and some buddies of mine at Culebra mostly weekends around 8pm
