Hmmm that sounds like fun. You’re from Chorpus right? When I first started playing MvC2 I met a couple of players from Corpus while I worked at Diversions. At the time their Magneto’s used to shock and amaze me, and of course they used to stomp on me like nothing. I wonder how I would fair against them these days.:bluu:

Ok guys tournaments in Corpus Christi, TX are official! The Tilt corporate manager called me from St. Louis this evening to discuss this whole tournament idea with me. He said we can hold them as long as they are pay to play (people pay for their matches). These tournaments will only feature Marvel vs Capcom 2 because our arcade lacks in recent games or other games such as CvS2 or GGXX.
The first one will be on SATURDAY, May 10 and will BEGIN at roughly 3pm. This means you should show up around 2pm or 2:30 to sign up and pay entrance. That’s about the time I’ll show up to collect $ and setup bracks and what not. I’m not sure whether these will be held weekly or bi-weekly. I’m going to ask some people after the first and see what everyone else prefers.
Location: Tilt in Padre Staples Mall (2nd floor)
Entrance fees = $10. $5 of your entrance fee will go towards paying for your matches. If there is any left over from this money, it will go to first place’s prize.
Prizes: 1st - 70% of pot, 2nd - 20% of pot, and 3rd - 10% of pot.
So I hope to see you guys there, please spread the word as much as possible!!! I really want these to go well.

Twas fun guys, too bad I didn’t play more. I just went over there to talk to Victor for a bit. MvC2 was not my purpose there which is why I didn’t play more. (I wasn’t expecting so many people to be around anyway)
Well I wish I had a best team but I’m not good enough to have one. I’m still working on it. But my best team would probably include Mag. Let’s see i’ve been working on M/S/P,C,Sent or sometimes Doom. Also rowtron and combofiend and other mag/sent teams. So yeah all of the include Mag but sometimes I go for the Storm/Sent/assist type teams. But all in all I still get owned by COMMANHO. 
It’s like this. I’ve been in this damn city for close to two years now. For a while, I had stopped playing fighters. but GGXX has rekindled my love for the genre. Obviously, I am behind the times. Since the only game I really know how to play at the moment is GGXX, it isn’t very often that I get to play people (been having to drive to Austin for comp). I met Joe along with one of his friends and he referred me to SRK and San Pedro Diversions.
I was wanting to learn 3rd Strike and I paid a visit to Diversions about 10 pm on a wednesday night. Is it just me or do the sticks suck on that machine? Things just didn’t feel natural. I know I’m no expert on the game, but I know how to do simple shit. Needless to say, I’m gonna be dropping by there at random times to try and learn this damn game (I’m a skinny azn guy with glasses with a serious lack of skillz). Just wanted to let yall know. This is more or less a half-assed introduction I decided to type out while I’m riding out my 12 hour shift at work
