There are some who have joined in just because of Warden. Some dont even know about FH. Legit someone asked “is warden from samsho or not? dont feel like he is.”

Been messing around with the Warden character and he’s definitely fun, and has insane damage output. He feels kind of unfinished though, kind of like characters like Gaoh & Zankuro in 5Sp, but he fits into the settings of the game surprisingly well. Gotta give SNK props for this one!

Meh, would have been nice to have gotten another samsho character rather than a fanservice/cross promo character.

Not really. SNK is owned by Leiyou/Ledo Corporation, not Tencent. If anything, they’d be promoting their competition.
This is probably a better deal for SNK, however, since Honor Of Kings is HUGE in China, for what I’ve read.
Great gameplay and design, I have nothing to complain here. Most SamSho good characters are already in the game, anyway.
Amakusa, Yunfei, Suija, Enja, Kusaregedo, Gaira, Zankuro, & Mizuki aren’t in. Even Cham isn’t in. I’m a fan of the series, I’d rather they bring in more characters from the series or at least create new ones that are part of that world rather than bring in another fanservice character.

You gotta have a little bit of everything. There are enough classic characters in the game already.
Ah I like Gedo lol! I like that samsho pulls from history abd mythology for their characters and using the youkai tales as the foundation for Gedo’s design was cool. But he’s one of the more interesting characters in the series in terms of his design.
I would like to see them add some new characters that are related to the samsho world though. One thing SNK has always been really good at is character designs.

The character I’d like to see back is Gen’An. But I get it, he’s simply not popular (especially in Japan).
But hell, Kazuki, Sogetsu, Shizumaru, Basara, Mina, Yoshitora and Iroha are back. That should be eough. Yeah, Gaira and Asura could make a return too, but you simply can’t have everything.
Gongsun Li looks like a great addition.
