SamSho NeoGeo Collection coming next month. Includes Samurai Shodown 5 Perfect, which was basically the final planned arcade update to 5SP that added actual endings and some bug fixes, but was pulled in the middle of its first loketest.
Photos from the loketest have existed for years, but this is the first time itāll ever come home.

I mean, the trailer already says that itās on rollback netcode. Color edit is probably not happening unless itās on the original ROM, since thatās all they had, not the source code.
Speaking of which, Kotaku of all places confirmed that the Enja speed glitch has been removed.

the Neogeo Collection will be releasing for both Steam and Epic, however Epic will have it for free for a week (June 11th-18th). so if you hate the epic store you can just download the demo and then buy it on steam.

what gonna happen to samsho when king of fighter 15 releases? I think people are going switch over but there will be still hardcore player who play samsho. Probably no growth for more locals. I want to here from the all of you people.
Despite both being SNK those are MASSIVELY different games.
SamSho will still have an audience, at least until the next SamSho drops.

What Reticently said. The games arenāt anything alike, and the playerbases donāt overlap that much from my experience.
As for my own local community, Samshoās relatively popular amongst the grumpy old men who donāt like spending time in the lab to learn combos, which is a decent part of the comunity. By contrast very few people play KOF at all here, much less play it seriously.

The Last Blade series has more in common with KOF than Samsho. KOF and Samsho couldnāt be further apart in gameplay. The only thing they have in common is theyāre both made by SNK.

Last year I said this would be one of my main games. It coming exclusively to epic changed that. The 11th is hours away and I donāt even care. Not getting this just so I can have trouble finding the same 10 people online.
Screwed the pooch on not having a steam release. Iāll grab the free games and play 5Perf for an hour and never log back in at least.
i got the collection and tried ss5 perfect. what are the differences between Perfect and Special besides single player story? they seem very close except maybe lower damage? iām sure somebody here knows a lot about 5 Special and can help me understand it better.

If anyone is considering getting the game on PC know that it is currently bugged for online, for a lot of people it doesnāt put you in the correct region ( I am in Taiwan game says I am in the US ) and the connection indicator icon will just show full 4 bars regardless.
There I have found no official news about working on a solution, but I did talk to Krispy Kaiser yesterday and he told me it is being worked on.
Make what you will of that info.

Then you play him and realise heās a fuckinā gorilla. If you thought you were safe from U N G G A in SamSho, you thought wrong.
Within hours me and other guys like Olaf were already labbing out unblockable setups.

I donāt really like guest characters and I was hoping samsho would avoid that, but here we are. Tbh having Siegfried or Nightmare from soulCal might have been good choices though, but Iāve never played FH so this doesnāt really matter to me.
