I’m looking forward to the switch version, I’ll be able to play that one more since I don’t have to be sitting in front of my tv to do it.
Ukyo has a glitch with backdash tsumba where it whiffs on standing but hits crouching. So if you stand it whiffs, if you duck it hits. It has farther range va crouch for some reason. So if you block backdash taumba you don’t get block punish. It just whiffs most the time. Pretty cheap

Wait, so the tsubame whiffs on standing opponents? I was gonna say, it sounded like a crappy Hitbox, but that actually does sound like a legit glitch, especially considering the 5sp hitbox for that move is like this:
There’s a lot of weirdness with this game though it seems.

Yep, I bought it, I’ll finally have time to play the game now that I won’t have to be chained to my PS4 & tv to do so.
I’m kind of annoyed that it downloaded the WHOLE 10 GB of the game and the SamSho 2! bonus but won’t let me play either of them.

How is the online on the Switch version?
Good. The two things that stands out are the traditional swordsmanship and primitive era. Meaning, that this is the game to get.
It’s not out yet, but I imagine it’ll be like the other versions. Other people complain about the netcode, but I get good connections on the PSN version, tho I’ve got a fiber connection so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Been getting on the Basara grind since I have a little more time to play games lately. He’s fun, definitely my kind of character as far as his play style, but I really wish they’d bring Amakusa.
Cool, might try the Switch-version while I wait for the fabled PC version in that case. Haven’t gotten to play at all for way too long.

Online will be better on PSN than on PC if the Steam & PS4 versions of 5 Special are anything to go by. I get not wanting to pay for PSN though.
In my experience, if you have a fiber or approaching fiber speed connection, the online is pretty good, but if you have an average connection, it’ll probably be laggy. Typical Japanese dev stuff.
For me it’s less paying for PSN and more not wanting to buy a second monitor that doesn’t suck, and then hassling with cables and rewiring everything whenever I want to play since my wife uses the ps4 on our main TV.
