Wow way to fucking blow it right off the bat you dumb shit. We never brought an anniversary stick to EVO East. That stick was borrowed by an American player because Samir plays on US sticks at his local arcade. He played on different sticks all weekend and found that one to be the most comfortable. Get your facts straight but WAIT… we brought a specific PS2? HAHAHAHA YOU ARE REALLY THAT STUPID?! We brought one PS2 and it was the one being used by the US CvS2 players for casual. You can ask Deathsythe, Mr. Fantastic, SNAAAAAKE, Rugal B., any of the players there. I set that PS2 up for them and it NEVER touched 3S. You fucking lose you crybaby whiner. What other misconceptions do we have?

BZZZZZZ! WRONG! We played Money Matches on every cabinet EXCEPT that one. We played on the Friday afternoon/night on the far right cab with Deviljin and other people. We didn’t get to play any money matches on Saturday. Then on Sunday we played on the 10th floor with the VA/MD people and TGA. We NEVER played on that supposed rigged cabinet. Was Samir using a rigged stick and PS2 when he was beating Exodus, KOFiend, and EVERYONE that stepped in front of him then? Way to fucking blow it again. You’re so blinded by your own ignorance you can’t see that we didn’t do anything wrong. We kept it straight and Toronto’s 3S skills shone through because we got the phat loot and you got some tissues for your crybaby tears. FURTHERMORE, Justin Wong himself tested this supposed rigged stick on stations with Samir and it didn’t work. The stick DIDN’T BELONG TO SAMIR! WE DON’T CONTROL HOW THAT STICK WORKS! GET IT THROUGH YOUR DUMB SKULL!

That’s a fucking load of shit. Not only did you not immediately report your so called findings, you waited AN HOUR to say something about it. Samir played and lost to Justin (please note everyone that Samir won the first game BEASTING all over Justin and then he adapted straight up and beat him the next two. The kid is a fucking beast and no one is going to be able to deny it). THEN Samir plays Smooth on the other cabinet, again beasts all over him and then Smooth made the comeback. Props to Smooth, he’s a beast and we all recognize. Only after all of that did Joey speak to Samir and then I noticed what was going on and listened in on it. Your timeline is so fucking flawed and TONS OF PEOPLE can recognize that there’s a big time lapse in all of this.

Wow is this ever a fucked up set of words. Let’s break it down shall we?

  • At no point did Justin ever see what these so called changes were. You yourself acknowledged that Justin jumped to options, hit default and noticed changes. At no point did you or Justin make a note that something was up with damage, which brings me to…
  • You can’t change damage in options. You set your handicap at the versus screen. I don’t know how in the world you came to the conclusion that you can change damage from options but last I checked that doesn’t fly.
  • In case people didn’t see it, Samir didn’t have a guilty expression. Henry got pissed and wanted to start a fight with a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD KID! What grown man starts up with a kid?
  • There is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE that Samir changed anything. NONE! No one saw him change settings. Anyone that would try to front like they did now is full of shit because there’s no way someone wouldn’t report that someone was tampering with settings on a machine. No one saw this kid do anything. Samir wasn’t sitting at the cab waiting for Henry or Justin to sit down either. YOU’VE GOT NOTHING! IT’S A BUNCH OF SPECULATION FROM A GUY WHO GOT FUCKING ROCKED BY A KID!
  • I told Joey that I taped a lot of Samir’s matches that day but didn’t get to tape Samir vs Henry because I was taping Smooth vs Antoine. I can’t be in two places at once. I NEVER refused to do anything that Joey asked of me. Fuck man you paint the worst picture of things.
  • I don’t agree with Joey’s ruling on the matter but he’s the boss. Bottom line, Samir got a refund (which he never would have got if Joey thought the guy was guilty, he offered a medium to an obvious he said vs he said situation) and was told he could enter EVO North or Evo World to qualify. Again, you didn’t get your shit straight, he was never banned from EVO.

Now this REALLY PISSES ME OFF! NEVER! NEVER! NEVER DID I ADMIT TO SHIT! I came upstairs from dinner, saw you two talking and literally put my arm around you and joked about “oh shit, 80% combo, check those settings.” We all had a laugh, talked about how in the old days people could get beat up or stabbed for doing shit (I’m old too, I know how things were) and I went in to watch Guilty Gear. NEVER DID I ADMIT TO SHIT! You want to be mad about your situation that’s fine, but you’re complete and total scum for saying I said something that I flat out didn’t say. Anyone who has met me for even 30 seconds knows I would never say “Let’s keep it real between the OG people here, yah we cheating.” Arturo Sanchez was standing right there and I swear if he so much as posotively affirms your flat out lie that will be the last time I speak to him. We’re friends and I would never forgive a friend for implicating me for something I never did. That’s a flat out backstab move and I would hope Arturo steps up and tells everyone the truth.

I think the best way to find out whether Samir cheated is to just ask him. And whatever he says, take his word for it.

On a side note, seeing how I’m the president of Canada, Nagata Lock usually knows what he’s talking about. Henry Cen’s post seems legit too but it was all a little too noble, if you know what I mean. I mean the “i had to accept my loss” made me want to vomit. I wasn’t even at Evo. But what I can tell you is that Nagata’s words are usually good, and Samir only cares about winning. So it’s really all up to you.

in game options, you can set the overall damage of everything. default is 2 (min 1, max 4). this is separate from system direction and versus handicaps. (not saying anything or accusing anyone, just stating the game’s various options)

regardless if he cheated or not, samir is a really good yun player. all of toronto are, especially that devious js master…im gonna get him when i turn my stick into super god stick. fucker took like $40 from me! >=(

i dunno who to believe to be honest. i think something shady happened. granted nagata is right. you cant modify damage per player in the options. you CAN modify damage up to 4 stars and it affects both players. if this was the case, both players got the damage boost. but regardless, higher damage, even if both players have it, skews results considerably.

it cant be through handicap since its up to the player to choose handicap level, even tho this option should be left off regardless.

only other way to really make a possible distinct advantage for one player is possibly fucking with system direction.?

is the scam true or not? i dunno, but this alone is probably gonna cause evo to run a tad bit longer cuz everyone, including myself, that heard about this, is gonna check options everytime before fight and default them to be safe heh. i hope some truth comes out from this

I don’t know what to believe as a person not there at all, but I can speak to how things sound, and it does sound iffy that Nagata would come out and say “Yeah we cheating” after such a big deal had been made about it that got a kid banned from the tourney, not something someone just says after that.
