How do I AA a Condor Dive spamming T.hawk?
I tried cr.hp to no avail :\
Out of curiosity, what is Sakura’s worst match-up?
imo Blanka, Akuma or Boxer.
Pretty sure you can just block the condor dives and punish with shouoken. Possibly a walk up c.mk shouoken or ultra 2 I’m not too sure on the matchup cause no-one plays him around here. But the move is really unsafe on block so they shouldn’t be doing it much. F.mk has a decent hitbox as anti air and you can also try jump back fierce/roundhouse.
Top five worst for Sak: (in no particular order) Blanka, Honda, Akuma, Boxer, Gief. Though with Blamka Balls getting the nerf bat I think that one’ll get a lot better for Sakura. Probably put Chun in Blanka’s spot.
Block and reversal HP shuou.
Honda is easy if you are allowed to zone him. Akuma is easy if you don’t get lamed out. We can shou under his air fireballs. We can stop his demon flips. We have ex otoshi. We can focus his s.hk. We can easily punish bad teleports and demons. Its really not that bad.
Chun-Li, Hawk and Gief are the worst ones at least for me.
You can only zone a good Gief and Hawk for so long…
Anyone know how to deal with Abel? Should I keep him out or try to rush him down? My thoughts are on keeping him out but I don’t feel i’ll get much damage that way since he has ways around sak’s fireball and can easily focus or command throw me out of my pokes. The one thing i have major trouble with though are his sweep option selects to catch my backdashes and I feel those are very important in this matchup. Without backdashes I have to block all the hits and try to guess when he will tornado throw, such a hard matchup for me…
lets replace honda with bison. i don know why but im so bad againt bison. i hope her buffs and his nerfs will make this fight a little more fun.
ex shou is great against bison if you feel a poke coming. The rest is just down to stuffing his attacks, blockng right, spacing, mix ups and wake up games.
is there any way to beat rufus’ dive kicks?
OS cr.hp. Basically just press cr.lp+cr.lk+cr.hp. If he tries to grab, you tech, if he dive kicks, he eats cr.hp.
Rufus can do his divekick later to beat this os, but it’s pretty effective against scrubby rufuses.

Sakura does fine against Abel imo.
Sakura has 5-5 or 5.5 against Abel
